I picked this up about a year ago but didn't want to drop a review until I road tested on several rides. This is probably the best comfort items I have added to the wing. Easily adjustable, easy install and lower back pain is gone on the long rides. No unsightly bars, clean look and matches the stock seat very well. A quality item.
The V2 made my decision when I found it attaches to the main frame in 4 points. Looking at others that attach to the main with 2 points and the sub-frame, I didn't want to put that stress on an item that was already supporting the trunk and saddlebags. The V2 went on in about an hour with no problems. As stated before by other users, the instructions are horrible. Product is top notch.

This is a great product for the windshield. Cleans well and protects, leaving a clean smooth surface. Even seems to fill in hairline scratches. About as close to a rainX product you can get (Don't use RainX). The price is a little steep but it lasts a long time. |

I bought this cup and holder 2 years ago and installed it the day it came in. I love this cup holder and the mug and just ordered a replacement mug. Very stylish and keeps the drinks cool and the coffee in the morning hot!! DO not expect it to keep it hot forever or cool forever, but it is for awhile. Very easy installation. A previous review by Jim on 4/07/11 prompted me to write my own review. First, It does not leak at all unless you fill it to the brim, If I remember the instructions that came with it correctly. It tells you not to fill it completely full. Second, is the wing nut vibrating loose. It is mounted on a motorcycle so expect some bolts to loosen. Check it after the first ride or so and retighten. I retightened mine by hand one time after the first month of ownership, no pliers required. It has been tight ever since. Loc tite can be used as well. I have not had my holder off one time in 2 years Third, the only time mine got stuck in the holder was when it sat for 2 weeks in the HOT NM sun without being taken out while I was in Alaska. The black mark was easily cleaned up. Fourth, It is very easy to align the top of the lid with the emblem on the cup and when you put it in the holder, align the emblem where it is natural for when you pick it up to drink. If that does not work, you can feel the lid when you HAVE to reach down and slide it open. You can tell which way the drinking hole is by the slide cover. Ok, enough of my rant.. If you're still reading, then thank you. I love my cup and feel that it is much better then a lot of the plastic ones on the market. |
The picture really doesn't show you how it makes the console pop
When I bought my bike I asked about having one of these put on. Dealer said probably not needed. Guess what its needed. Little plastic res. doesn't deflect much debris.
Warning if you start with the little bling, it gets easier to by the bigger stuff, really nice touch
This was the first piece of bling I bought. Like many others I didn't want to go overboard,, but
Once again I've been duped by wingstuff.com into thinking that something will fit the 2012 goldwing. Even the picture looks like the rectangular exhaust of the 2012, yet the product is circular. On a positive note, they do look nice when I opened the box.
One of my best purchases for my goldwing. If you are having a problem putting your bike on the center stand and this is the item to purchase.
The post-recall floorboards include all the necessary parts -- thanks Kury. But, since these floorboards are much heavier than the stock ones the supplied springs weren't holding them up properly; the left side wouldn't stay completely folded. So I tried, and ended up using the Honda parts anyway, especially the detent plates and springs which completely solved the problem. They look great, and my wife loves the choice of foot positions. Happy with this purchase. I hope they hold up (chrome and rubber).
I installed the Centramatic product along with a new set of Elite 3's over 3500 miles ago. So far, the front tire still looks brand new. The ride is unbelievable. I rode a short distance on I-40 between Jackson and Brownsville, TN (I never ride the Interstate) and I can not adequately describe the smoothness of the ride, no vibrations just silky smooth. The Centramatic product certainly gets my full recommendation.
