I never could adjust my set so it was comfortable and when I tried to adjust it it broke in the middle of the back and now I have no more device! Guess I have to look for another one that does the right job! |

To the reviewer who wants to wear a hat at 45 mph: buy a car! To all others, I have had this on my wing for 4 years and there are NO scrtaches. I have the vented one +2 at the lowest position and it works great. Just dont get scared if you put it on in your garage with flourescent lights. These lights make it look like there is a colored oil film on the shield! Out in the real world it is perfectly clear. Just a reaction with the flourescent lights that was confirmed by the manufacturer. |
| This seems like a good deal for the money, however the front portion of the pan fits even worse than it shows in the picture. It does not line up with main pan at all and is very noticible. I just left the fron portion off..... |
| They go on easily and look OK. HOWEVER, they scratch VERY easily. You cannot even put on the side covers without scratching the chrome. Very soft. I just removed this weekend and went back to just the pivot covers and the "bare" frame. It looks better in my opinion and the frame does not sctrach like the soft chrome. |
| Bolt right on with no issues on my 2002 GL1800. Took 10 minutes and only removed sidecovers to install. They look great too! |

I purchased these to lower my bars and they work great. I mounted them with the high side towards the front of the bike. The bike feels much more "sporty" and the position aids handling in corners. I am 5'11" and they allow my arms to go straight out and are more comfortable for me creating ever so little lean forward. I removed the black upper tree cover and left it off. I like seeing the triple clamps and tops of fork tubes. PS I purchased some blakc plastic hole plugs at Lowes to cover the bold holes for the handlebars and they fit and look great! |
| Installed prior to a 2700 mile road trip and I have to say that this is a GREAT upgrade in the front suspension. My wing feels more stable in turns and no more nose dives on hard braking. Very nice product. |
| I installed the Dyna Beads for the first time on a new set of tires before leaving on a 2700 mile road trip and all I can say is: I will never use wheel weights again! My wing has never felt so smooth and no more low speed wobble when coming to a stop. I put 2 oz. in front and 3 oz. in rear. After my return, I closely inspected the tires and see no early evidence of cupping what so ever. I am sold on these beads!! |
| This is a must have! Greatly improves fork action on stock or any level of modified forks. I have had it on my 2002 GL1800 in stock highly modified and now with Progressive Monotube kit and it allows the forks to work much better. The anti-dive was a Honda attempt to correct for the WAY too soft stock springs and lack of dampening in the fork. Yes fork, since there is only dampening in the left side in stock trim. |

Let me start by saying that I have over 40 years of riding, racing and building experience on over 30 motorcycles. This is about a 3-4 hour job if you are proficient with tools and your Goldwing. Be sure and put new oil in BEFORE mount back on the motorcyle!!! I had Progressive springs, 10 wt oil, fork brace with anti-dive shim in place and was pretty happy with the front suspension. Having put in the Monotube Cartridge kit now for a month I give it a thumbs up as an improvement. Consistent dampening with correct sag. The ONLY area that these are NOT better is over very small sharp edged bumps. They are not terrible, but not as smooth. I am happy over all with the improvement. DO NOT put in 2 preload shims. As a matter of fact, if I did not have to completely disassemble forks again, I would try it with no shim to see if theat helps the small bump issue. PS I dropped forks in tubes 1/2 inch for quicker handling with less initial sag and dive. |
| This battery is AWESOME! No matter which model you get you will not be disappointed. I got the largest. It has enough cold cranking amps to turn over most cars! It cranks my 2002 GL1800 like crazy. It comes with many pieces of very good adhesive foam pieices for fitment. The large one requires 1/4 inch foam on each side and then is a direct boltin. DO NOT FORGET to look at the instruction pictures and to connect the bar that enables the battery to function!!!! |
| Good for the price! They are a snug fit. You need to cram in the corners and then they are fine. |
