NOT Mac Friendly - GREAT otherwise

Good Manual - CD case came to me shattered in 4 pieces, but the CD was OK. Tried to run this on my iMac 27" Quad 3.4, a very fast Mac. Took so long to do anything I ended up using it in my PC Laptop. On the Mac, some of the graphic were blurry, and the videos would not run as it was not supported. Why not use MPEG or MOV, a format any machine can handle? The few questions/issues I have were very well explained. Checking shims on CAM, replacing the fluid in the clutch…… I was able to extract the part of the book I needed and put them on my iPad. The color Wiring diagrams print out great on 11x17, hard to flow on smaller paper. I do not know why the advertise this as a 2006 - 2010. It clearly has 06-08, but I found some 05 stuff on it. This is a must have manual, wish it was Mac friendly then I would have a rating of 5 stars. |

I bought this to get info about my 2010 wing. It falls a little short on that front. This CD is for 2006-2008 wings. It does come in handy when dismantling body parts but it doesn't get into some of the technical wiring that is on a 2010. It is still useful, so I have kept it, as most of the hardware is the same on these bikes. 3 stars for mislabeling. |

Great Manual but watch out!
| I have a GL1800 2010. Even though the title indicates that it is for the 2010 it is not. Notice the front of the cover it says 2008. I purchased one of these and had to return it since it didn't have information related to my year bike. Wingstuff was great to work with and gladly accepted it back even though it had been opened. I then had to purchase the printed manual to get service information related to the 2010. It too is a great manual, but the CD would have been easier to store and search. |

Worth having!
| I just did a fork rebuild and I could not have done it without this manual. I also found some wires were routed wrong by the prior owner, so well worth it. I likes the video that shows how easy it is to change brake shoes. I would have gone about it wrong without it. |

This contains the same manuals as the printed service manual (HO61MCA55). See my review of the printed manual. I bought both the CD and the printed manuals mainly because having an electronic copy will last longer than paper and it is a lot easier to search for something in an electronic manual than paging through a printed manual. The CD also has a few very useful video clips. If you’re not fussed about a printed manual then this CD will suffice, but if you’re planning on servicing your Wing yourself and find it more convenient using a printed copy, you may want to get the printed manual too. You can of course print the pages you want from the CD. The biggest advantage of the CD is size and weight. You could easily store it in the trunk or saddlebag and can easily be viewed on any laptop as it does not require any special software other than Adobe. |

| A must have for any goldwing owner. The CD allows you to print the information you specifically need to perform the work you are doing - no need to carry the entire manual around. The only drawback is that the CD can not be downloaded and copied to the computer hard drive. An added plus is that owner's manual is included on the CD and so the original can be left on the bike for on the road reference. |
