| Fed Ex rolled right by last night at 7:56, stating security issues. They didn't even try the gate box to call my place so I could open the gate. Multiple calls to Fed Ex is like calling the Government. Forget FEDEX and free shipping. I've been here two days straight waiting on the shipment and must say, Wingstuff - wish you could fix this or send me another one! |
| Wow! Just got my service manual with all the updates! Guess what it came in the ring binder and I'm looking too getting my hands into my wing as needed. The service manual is an absolute must!! I had a manual for my VTX and used it many many times! |
| That's a CROCK |

I ride an average of 2000-2500 miles a month now (and that's in Winter months). Much of the riding (75%) lately has been in group rides on back roads with tight corners, twisties and great S-Turns. I have been running ME880 front and rear since pulling of Dunlop E3's about 6 months ago. It was an easy decision "then" because on the way home when I put new E3 on the rear, I rained and when I just barely touched the brake, it tried to lock up... Pulled it off the next day and went to Metzeler and it grabs the road like crazy when it's wet! I'm willing to bet that the "Mold Compound" had not worn off yet (my bad)! I still have the Metzeler on front but HAVE already worn the BACK one down to the wear indicators at ONLY 5000 miles. I AM NOT INTO REPLACING TIRES EVERY TWO MONTHS, especially when it costs $64 to mount, $6.50 for valve stem and $3.00 disposal fee). So, I put that Dunlop E3 that only had 20 miles on it back on yesterday. Now, I remember whey I rode on Dunlops for 3 years. They don't tip so easy because of the difference in tired height. After installing Metzeler on front and rear two months ago, I noticed how the Wing wanted to tip over much more. Now back on the Rear Dunlop E3, my baby just rolls into the turns and corners so sweet so we'll see where this goes on my next trip! Quote from another Forum: IMHO Metz on the front for better gripping and tracking and Elite 3 on the rear for durability and longer wear. The Metz seems "softer" and grips the road better. Elite 3 seems "harder' so does not track as well but great for the rear which wears quicker than the front from carrying more of the weight. |
| I bought four to put on girlfriends and my helmets. I broke one just trying to get it on. After trying with second give up before I broke it also. I did not like the split loop as it looks like it would brake in a hard hit and after braking one just putting it on would have trouble trusting them. |
| Looks great worth the money, nice to able to check your oil and not having to take the cover off. I also put the chrome pivot and battery covers on. |

I saw these on Wingstuff as soon as they came out. I like what I see and love they way they move up and down instead of in and out. Before I can spend almost $300 for arm rest I have got to see a bike with them on it. I would Also like to see someone's on installation photos and documentation of the "issues" they had while installing them. I have read that some guts made some extra support brackets to strengthen up the connection with the plastic truck. Anything you guys can share will help a ton. In the mean time I will keep searching for a bike that has these arm rest installed. I gave these one star because without owning them I can't give them anything higher. Plus I hope people that have these see a one star rating and read my post to see what the issue is about and get them to let me know about their issues before I buy them Thanks |
| I installed these on my 2012 GW very easily. However, I'm 6'2 with a 32" inseam and the bottom edge of the fairing gets in the way and keeps me from achieving the comfort levels I was aiming for when I purchased these. I got the non lighted version because I didn't see how the wires wouldn't be visible. I hate wires to be seen! The finish is superbly shiny. The foot area is large and can easily accommodate size 12 or 13 boot. If installed correctly, ground clearance is not an issue. |
| I installed the mirror turn signal LED kit on my 2012 GW with very little difficulty. These lights are very visible from the rear of your bike making it an excellent safety item. There's absolutely no distractions to the rider while turn signals are on. The only way you can see them from a seated position is to lean out. The plug and play adaptor make for an easier install, but isn't necessary as you can easily splice into the forward facing front turn signals. I also installed the stealth LED lights and they too add a great amount of light to the side of the bike especially since they reflect off of the chrome valve covers. |
| Great bang for the buck. Easy install with great results. Blends well with the OEM Honda emblem. |
| I installed this item on my 2012 GW without the vertical LED accent lights and it really dresses up the black fender filler in the rear of the bike. I wasn't sure how it would look by it self, but it looks great! I'm not sure why they include the self adhesive tape because the location of the tape is useless as it doesn't make contact with the bike. The two mounting screws are all that's needed to secure the light to the bike. The LED's in this light is much brighter than the OEM brake/run lights which is an added safety feature. |

Just purchased/received/installed the light. Fairly cheap design/setup. Being as I"m running a NON stock license plate bracket/attaching, it took some 'modifying' to make it work with my setup. (not THE lights fault). Easily enough to figure out which 3 wires to hook into (with the help of the guys on the GW forums). LOL. Plenty of light back there. BRAKE light is really bright. Worth the money. |
