Although quite well made these should come with longer screws. If you go to Honda the part number for the screws is 93903-25380. These are the same screws that hold the side moldings on the panniers (about 4mm longer than the original screws.) Be careful not to over tighten .One stripped out on me, but a little bit of Loctite fixed that.
These are good sound instructions. Fred persents his instruction in such a way that even the most inexpienced can reason through the task. He also goes 100 miles out of the way to explain every detail with comprehension. He is a very talented trainer. The only downside would be the high price. But considering that there is not much out there in video training available, well worth the price verses paying a dealership to do.
I got my bag last year before going on a rode trip to yellowstone. This bag is large enough for my wife and my clothes. We were in some rain downpours that got us wet through our rainsuits but this bag has a rain cover that we used and our clothes were completely dry. Bag is low profile and easily hooks to the rack with the velcro straps. Never had bag loosen during trip. Longest day 640 miles. Only thing wrong with this bag is the 2 extra pockets. They are hard to get open when hooked to rack.
Just purchased another "Strap Quick Release" for my New Shoek Neotec Helmet. Have had one of these quick release's on my older Shoei helmet and has been fantastic. Used a plastic Tie wrap to attach to helmets D Rings. Very satisfied with the product.

A wonderful addition to any bike. I put mine on in about 10 minutes only because I tend to take my time installing things like this. It was extremely easy to install. The quality of this switch and housing are top-notch! And best of all, it looks great against all of the black around it. I would recommend this product to anyone any day of the week and twice on Sunday! |
Tried another manufacturer, but was disappointed. These pieces look great! A little hard to install on one side, but well worth it. Screw holes needed to be reamed first to avoid cracking the mounts.
Purchased for my 2012. Although I keep it in the garage I keep it covered. Kids are constantly in and out playing. This is a good quality cover. I bought one from Walmart that ripped after a couple of months of use. Exceptional fit and worth the money. I also cover my Wing in the parking lot at work. I had issues with the wind blowing the Walmart cover partly off on a couple of occasions. Shouldn't have that issue with this one because of the straps and hooks designed to secure the cover. It's also waterproof. Great product Wingstuff.
I really like the look and functionality of these armrest. They were by far the better looking out of all the onse I shopped for. I went with the beverage holder shown in the picture but will most likely swap it out. I will write a separate review on it but the mounting for it leaves a lot to be desired. As for the armrest, they are top quality. The mounting to the back of the trunk area could have been of better designed. somewhat flimsy. I added extra screws and oversized washers for additional stability. My wife likes them as well. Exceptional quality. I just ordered the Ultimate King seat. Ultimate says that their seat (pictured) works well with the Rivco armrest. I was told by the Corbin rep that their seat will not work with these. 5 stars.
Last post was 2/24/10. I got 18K+ out of that set. Re-booted and am around 10K on this set. Back tire is cooperating as expected. Shows center ware but no cupping or cracking. Traction is still awesome over E3s and others I've tried. Love the dynamic balancers. I keep the tires at 43lbs religiously. However, this front tire wants to drift to the left at all speeds and I cannot take both my hands off the bars at all. I was hoping that it was just a mold lip that would ware off. Also went back and re-setup the front axle thinking I may have snugged it out of true but no luck. Showing weird wear signs. I wonder if rubber compound changes from batch to batch? I'll replace the front and keep a close watch on it. FYI I replaced the fork brace with the "super brace" by WingStuff and that removed 90% of any front end wobble that the Wing is famous for. The 5th star will come back if the next front is as good as the 1st one.

Pretty. Ok - Two words: Pretty and Shiny! |
Not sure what some of the members are talking about when they say that this product didn't held up, I have had this cowl on my 2006 Gold Wing for over 4 year in New Mexico (freezing to HOT weather) and it still looks great.
I just bought this rack and it was missing the mounting bracket and the locking pins. Not a problem, called Tom at Cyclegiant.com and he asked me to take a picture of what was in the box and email him. Within 5 minutes of receiving the email, I got a call back from Tom. They had an extra rack in stock and within 2 hours Tom had packaged and shipped the missing parts. Great customer service at Cyclegiant and Wingstuff.
