this is a good buy.easy to install and works like a charm..this rack is handy..
We just bought this cover for our new Wing... I was very impressed with the cover, works great for our needs.
With this wrench, you don't have to remove the cowling to get the oil filter off. This slips over the end of the filter to easily remove it. Mine does not have the plug socket on the other end as show in some of the pics (some photos show the plug socket, others show a small hole). That would be a nice feature.
When I got my first Goldwing in 2004 (BLACK), the delivery guy shined the bike up using this and gave me the can. I have been buying this at Wingstuff ever since, and it's the only thing we've ever used. Now on our second Goldwing (Burgundy), and this stuff is the only way to clean and polish the bike, especially a dark color. It cleans the windshield, plastic, chrome, everything without scratching. Wipes on easily, and polishes with just a little bit of wiping.
The grommets on GoldWings wear out for some reason, it's a great idea to have a set of spares. Anytime you see a grommet beginning to tear, replace it. These all fit perfectly and are a must-have.
It took me longer to read the directions than it did to install it. My wife loves this, we placed it on the handle grips on the rear, it does not interfere with her getting on or off and it is a handy place for a drink.
Great value, keeps things from sliding around and provides a little padding. Mine were slightly too big, had to cram the edges in and they pucker a tiny bit in the corners, but overall they fit OK. I wish they would have used Velcro instead of snaps, but I hardly ever open up the little trap door anyway
I got this for my wife to keep her chin warm. She loves this thing. There is NO seam up the middle as shown, which is a huge plus. Although there is a little extra material on top (she wears a size S helmet), it does not bunch up inside the helmet because the top is made of a thinner material than the mouth and neck. She really likes the soft mouth/chin fabric A cool feature is that it is cut to tuck down into her jacket nicely to keep the wind off the back of her neck and throat. I tried it (Size L helmet) and love it. Although I already have my own face mask, I bought another one of these for myself because I really like it.
Does anyone know if this rack will fit a califorina side car trike hitch?
Although quite well made these should come with longer screws. If you go to Honda the part number for the screws is 93903-25380. These are the same screws that hold the side moldings on the panniers (about 4mm longer than the original screws.) Be careful not to over tighten .One stripped out on me, but a little bit of Loctite fixed that.
These are good sound instructions. Fred persents his instruction in such a way that even the most inexpienced can reason through the task. He also goes 100 miles out of the way to explain every detail with comprehension. He is a very talented trainer. The only downside would be the high price. But considering that there is not much out there in video training available, well worth the price verses paying a dealership to do.
I got my bag last year before going on a rode trip to yellowstone. This bag is large enough for my wife and my clothes. We were in some rain downpours that got us wet through our rainsuits but this bag has a rain cover that we used and our clothes were completely dry. Bag is low profile and easily hooks to the rack with the velcro straps. Never had bag loosen during trip. Longest day 640 miles. Only thing wrong with this bag is the 2 extra pockets. They are hard to get open when hooked to rack.
