| I bought this for my 2012 after I bought the chrome back plate (KU4544). The stock mounting plate has a bi-level shape. The chrome back plate is flat therefore this product doesn't fit because of the offset spacers that are built onto the plate. I had to add a 3/8" spacer on one side to level out the fit. Other than that the heel rest is a cool comfort accessory. I gave it only 3 stars because of the fit issue. |
| I figured I was a good enough rider to avoid road debris. I bought my wing 7 months ago and have not hit anything in the road (knocked on wood) but I looked at the underside of my bike about a month ago and noticed there was a significant dent in the coolant reservoir. I can only assume a pebble was bouncing down the road that I never saw. Luckily, there was not a hole. I just installed this belly pan with few problems. My wife bought this for me and at first I though she bought the wrong one since it was white. Turned out that was only the protector plastic (removed before I installed). I turned a 10 minute install into an hour since I did not realize the lower plastic piece had to be pulled off of the screws with a little extra elbow grease. I am happy with the peace of mind to protect the oil filter and the coolant reservoir. After I got the pan over the screws, I slid it as far back as possible and that allowed the front piece to tuck into the cowling instead of dangling below the cowling. The aircraft style connectors on the front piece made the install a breeze and will also make maintenance a breeze. If you plan to replace the brake pedal anytime soon, do the brake pedal first to save you from having to remove the whole pan again. In light of where the oil filter is, this is a must have that will save some wing engines. |
| As others have said, if you have added other side chrome, this makes the chrome lines flow smoothly. Very nice finishing piece. The install could not be any easier. |
| These are nice quality pegs and now match the forward pegs I installed a few months ago. I added these at the same time I replaced the brake pedal since the brake pedal is much easier to removed when the foot peg is removed. I installed these with the chrome brackets to finish off the lower chrome that I have added. Looks much cleaner now. The install was easy as long as you start pushing the pin back through as you put the spring back in place. |

I purchased these for my 2012 hoping to achieve a little extra legroom. 3/4 of an inch doesn't sound like much, but it was more than enough to give my 32" inseam some extra room. These are very easy to install. You will reuse the spring, pin and cotter pin from the stock pegs. If you are considering replacing the stock mounting plate with a chrome or black chrome part, now is the time to do it. What's really nice about these pegs is that you can adjust the tilt (toe up or toe down). I think you'll find a slight toe down orientation will provide the most comfort. One obvious difference with these over the stock pegs is you have less ground clearance, so when you go out on your maiden voyage, expect to drag your pegs a lot more. Which brings me to another observation. Unlike the stock pegs which will move in a more vertical direction when you drag the pegs, these pegs travel in more rearward direction. It may frighten you the first time you drag them, but you'll get used to it..small price to pay for more comfort. |

| Installed them last weekend, not sure about them. Firstly the template didnt seem to be exact. Hence the bumpers at the top of the box near the seat backrest were very hard to fit as the brace for the top box interferred with pulling the bumpers through the drilled hole. I broke two of the ends off mine. Luckily I had spares from my mates set. His went on better because we adjusted the template to suit where we wanted to drill as opposed to where it said to drill. Yes the top box is hard to close but I reckon the bumpers will soften up in time and all will be good...stay tuned for further developments. At least they didnt cost the earth to purchase, so no harm no foul if I throw them away in 6 months time. Will just have to wait and see. |
| My funny, little Honey enjoys riding on the 'Queen Seat' (when she isn't riding her own bike) but keeping her feet in the same position on longer rides used to make her knees hurt. With these Cruise Pegs she can move her feet around and no more aching knees! |
| This was an easy plug in install, until I plug something into it and then it blows the 3amp fuse installed in the line, that doesn't show in the picture |
| A bit pricey but worth EVERY penny. It does what it says and the results are beyond what I expected. Does not leave a haze like most products that you have to go back and buff off. Leaves a mirror like finish on painted surfaces, plastic, and chrome. Looks like you just spent hours waxing after one treatment. Cleans windshields so well they look invisible. Once you try this stuff you won't go back to anything else. |
| Installed new in 08. Have ridden 65,000 miles and works perfectly. Am now bying one for wifes new trike. |
| Unbelievable that such a small low cost piece of chrome could have such a large impact on looks. This trunk key hole accent really sets off the back of the bike. You have to get one - I can't think of any reason not to !! |
