We had used the Pakit Rak on our trip from Tampa out to Yellowstone and back in '09, and it was REALLY easy to pack and use. When we got the new Wing last year and planned on going to Glacier, this was a must again. We bought a lock so that the tray is locked onto the hitch--somewhat difficult to get it on, but it is a key lock and is secure. When the case is in the tray, you are unable to fully see the license plate. We had to drill holes into the tray to move the license plate onto the outside edge so that it could be seen---wish they would have done this at their factory, and wired a plug and play for a lighted plate holder. This new bag is made out of nicer material, and held its shape better that the one we bought back in '09. The zippers seem to be of better quality also. The first bag's waterproof cover came off in Salt Lake City---we turned around and got it--the elastic at the edges had broken. We used a bungee net to hold it in place for the rest of the trip. Called Dixon "Y" Machine (Company) and told them what happened. A new one was in the mail for delivery the next week. We are now planning the trip up to Seattle and on to Anchorage, and this Pakit Rak with be what our clothing goes into. Love having this behind us instead of a trailer. |
| I tried these drill holes and all,but my trunk was all ready chaffed and once installed made the trunk lid sit up higher and you could see the chaffing from the side. Now I got to go buy some plugs for the holes. They made the gaps between lid and trunk look terrible. |
| OK in a pinch - if you want liquid to leak on you during the ride while the cup rotates slightly to the left or right. I've had this product for about a year now. Always carried the cup in my trunk until needed. The cup holder looks good but it mounts too close to the left high accessory switch panel, making it impossible to tighten down the cup holder "tilt" unless the holder is dismounted. Additionally, the cup doesn't insulate worth a crap, and it leaks due to a bad seal. Always has. My solution was to accept the inability to tighten down the mount's oscillation and I purchased a Thermos SIP cup will does not leak. Better yet, the SIP mug maintains hot and cold liquids for many, many hours. I would not buy this drink holder again.... |
| Ordered online, tires delivered in six days, Checked the date code, they are dated 0115 Front and 1015 Rear, which makes me extremely happy with this purchase. Now to uncover the bike and get them installed. |
| Easy install. I installed mine on the left to keep my throttle hand free. I also replaced the straw with a Camel Pack tube so I can drink without my hands leaving the handle bars. |

| I followed the video and found the install easy. With only 50K on my 2012 I did not realize these would make such an improvement. |

Had this wrench for 1yr.and no rust or any sign of wear. Use it on all the oil and filter changes I do. Handy and time saving. |
| Pretty handy! Sometimes the GPS just isn't enough and those highlighted areas show up on a map when the GPS isn't giving you a clue that your gonna miss this great traveling feature. Simple and just a little tug gives you radio controls. Velcro ... wish I would have invented it!! |

After 48 thousand plus miles on the 08 wing, my Co-Rider was in desperate need of a way to stretch her legs on rides over 300 miles. I looked around for a solution to this need, ask questions of our GWRRA friends, and even had her sit on several bikes with this and other cruise pegs. Her favorite was this model. We have ordered two sets of these pegs, one set for the 08 Wing, and one set for the 2015 40th Anniversary wing we replaced the 08 Wing with. In both cases we had big issues with Kuryakyn's quality control. In general the installation of the product is straight forward. The issue came when inserting the passenger angle adjustment set screw. When installing the set screw, the threads were not cut properly on either the screw or the billet it screws into. I both cases we had to re-tap the billet and replace the set screw to match the threads we just cut (10-24 if I remember correctly). This took extra time, and in once case we actually had to 'easy-out' the set screw, which was even more of a pain. I am aware of other riders and their Co-rider having the same issue. That said, I believe these are some of the best Co-rider pegs on the market. Just be prepared to potentially clean up the threads on the angle adjustment set screw. If you don't have a tap to cut the new treads it will cost you the time to get one and to by the appropriate length set screw to match that tap. I also would have liked to see this product in the "Black" chrome. On the 2015 it would have matched the scheme of the Mini Floorboards and the Ego II highway pegs. It would get a 5 star rating otherwise. |

I purchased this adapter to splice my rear turn signals into the brake line also, so they'll blink, and brake. Pinout of the wiring harness: Orange: Left blinker Blue: Right Blinker Black: Ground Red: Running White: Brake. Works like a champ and I didn't have to cut into the bike's wiring harness! |
