| Just use a small "c" clamp screw it in and push the piston back in the caliper, works great! |
| Absolutely love these for the twisties. Got 17000 KM before my first rear change (included a run form Van BC to Madison, Toronto and back across Canada)and at that time the front was still good. Pulled a trailer on the second long run to Reno and through the canyons. BIG MISTAKE, this is a top notch twisty tire but softer compound, trailer and USA hot concrete spells a max of 7000KM. Ouch!! But I doubt there is a tire rated for pullin' a trailer. |
| See earlier post named 6 month update from 11-12-13. I've been using this unit for almost 3 years now and would not ride without it. It still needs to have the sensors blown out once in awhile but that's my only complaint. Battery life is as advertised. I've been changing them every 9-10 months but could go longer. Had something odd happen the other day. I picked up a 30 caliber shell casing in the rear tire on a rural road. The shell went into the Bridgestone tire like a cookie cutter. It sealed itself in and held air pressure. I immediately knew it was there because it thumped on every revolution of the tire. I still had 18 miles to get home. I was wondering if I drove it slow, how long the brass case would last before the road ate it up and turned it from a casing into a tube and let all the air out. I drove slow (25) on the shoulder and watched my TPMS like a hawk. To my surprise I made it all the way. I didn't have to guess how my tire was holding up, the TPMS told me. Once again, this is the best piece of gear I ever installed on my wing. |

About 40 minutes to install both sides. Hardest part was getting the rubber sleeves in the right spot. Suggestion to make it really easy. Use a couple of small soft jaw grip clamps, and a dull plastic scrapper or wide flat blade screwdriver. Get the rubber in the slots and hooked on one side. Use the clamps to pull it down toward the grip, then use the scrapper to push the rubber into the other side of the slot. Repeat process for other half and use clamps to hold together to install screws. Hope these hold up better than the chrome version. I got about 4 years on them and they where in really bad shape. |
| Install was as the directions said and after 3 trips everything is still in place. I like the fact that when the receiver is removed you can't tell my bike has a hitch. |
| These are bright. I installed them on my bike and trailer. Very easy install with just one small hole to drill. |
| These lights are bright. I installed them on my bike and bike trailer. Easy install with just a single little hole. |
| I always use the Exedra Max, I love Bridgstone tires have tryed all the brands on my Rice rocket and my wing, have had very good luck with the Max70 series tires way smoother than the 60's and great wet traction I'll never go back.... |
| Installed this vent in stock windshield to replace cracked and broken vent, easy install and fit like the original. Quality replacement vent. |
| I installed it as per the instructions, after I finished and tested it it was uneven. I tested it in several flat surfaces and street and the left side as you sit on the bike does not secure to the ground, it rested on the foot handle. The other point: when you engage reverse to put it one the center stand the starter motor strains to back it into position, thats with just one person on it. I don't think the motor will have enough power to lift it into position with two people on it. I do not recommend this product. The only reason I didn't return it is because I tried to straighten it with a rubber mallet and got frustrated, I just put the stock center stand back on. |

Received this product yesterday from Wingstuff. When attempting to install last evening I did encounter a few issues. First of all, this apparently can only be installed in one direction, as opposed to a typical incandescent bulb.Make sure you test it prior to replacing lens. It is also a bit thicker than the OEM bulb and I had difficulty inserting it into the socket. So much so in fact that I pushed the contacts back into the socket and had to take the socket apart and put everything back into place. A dab of a dielectric grease prior to installing this might be a good idea. Light output was OK, not that much different than stock other than being a bit more white. Not sure I would go thru the hassle again, but this should last a long time being LED. |

Just received these yesterday and installed last night. Super easy install, uses existing hardware. (Two bolts per side) Simply remove your old boards (or footpegs if you have an F6B) and re-use your factory hardware. 10 minute job at best. Great fit and finish, built much more robust than the factory boards. Wife loves the additional foot placement options for trips. Great price from Wingstuff, would purchase again! |
