Don’t buy if you already have a vent
| I have a 2008 with the factory vent and it was broken. This one is larger and requires cutting the windshield. I figured ok must be an updated design. After 2 hours of massaging the factory hole to fit the template it barely fits and I had to sand the windshield down because it’s too thick. I finally got it on and it won’t close all the way. Just binds up. The factory hole is bigger in some areas so there’s gaps. This vent and my windshield are gonna have to be trashed and a new windshield ordered. Save yourself the money and buy something else if you have a factory windshield. |

Smoke Vent
| Vent is well built and appears to be exactly like the OEM vent. The smoke finish is nice with my tinted windshield. I had to do a bit of filing to make it fit. I have the VStream windshield which seems to be slightly thicker than the previous one. In order for the two halves to clip together I had to use my dremel to shave off some material on the vent to fit. |

| Good quality product. Easy install, if you are good with basic tools. Measure twice, cut once. For a replacement, this would be bolt in. Good detailed instructions. |

Very functional.

Good product!
| Show Chrome gets a 2 thumbs from me for this air vent. To install, the Dremmel works well. Be prepared to measure twice and cut once. Vent seems well constructed, and engineered. At first instructions that come with product are confusing, it says it fits 04 and up. It does fit the 01 (and nicely I may add). Otherwise installation instructions are clear and concise. And vent gives the rider some nice air flow on the chest area. In my opinion the smoked vent looks fine on clear shield. Kudos to Show Chrome! |
