Kuryakyn Chrome Luggage Rack w/Rubber Inlay for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU7151,   SKU: KU7151

Take your time centering up this rack on trunk lid and laying out hole locations. Instead of drilling 1/4" holes as suggested by Kuryakyn I drilled 7/32" holes and the rack mounted no problem.
The thing that I found unacceptable (3 Star) was the fact that I had to chase the threaded holes out in order to get the mounting hardware to work. If this happens to you the size is #10-24.
Not much of a machinist if you can't drill and tap a hole correctly!!!

Progressive Monotube Fork Cartridge Kit for GL1800
ITEM CODE: TR779004,   SKU: TR779004

Okay, I have been reading the feedbacks on the shocks. I bit the bullet and purchased a set as well as set of all ball bearings for the stem as well as for the front wheel. I also purchased a fork brace.
I did the installation. I watched the video several times.
Changing the monotubes was easy however, the bottom fork nut was hard to torque. The top monotube would spin so I used a blue (Med) threadlock to hold the nut. I got it close to the recommended torq spec. The installation was very easy. Before installing the shocks on my bike I replaced stem bearings with All ball bearings. I followed the correct procedure for installing the bearings and correct Torq spec. I also used a Fish Scale to make sure it was at the right spec. I installed the forks on the bike. I torq all of the nuts. I removed the OEM bearings in my front wheel. It took me about 15 minutes to change out the bearings with New All ball bearings.
I installed the front wheel. It took me about 6 hours to disassemble and install the forks.
The day after installing the forks and bearings, I went on a 4 day trip from Gainesville Florida to Cherokee NC. The front of the bike was a little bumpy at first. The bumpy feeling subsided as I was riding up to NC. I guess the springs were breaking in. Although it felt bumpy, the ride overall was smoother. When I hit bumps, there was no downward bottoming out like before.
The next 2 days of riding in the mountains was even better. The suspension was nice and tight and very smooth. I owned a 2008 Ultra classic and the front suspension was way better than my OEM 2012 GL1800 suspension. The suspension on my GL1800 now feels more like the Ultra Classic suspension. I did not install the 2 spacers for a softer ride. The Progressive instructions mention that you will more than likely won't need to install the spacers. I didn't install them and I dont plan on installing them at this time. All in all I give the shocks an A+.
Note The ride is way different than OEM, but like anything that you are used too, it will take time to adjust. I put `1500 miles on the bike in 4 days and I wont go back to OEM

Bridgestone Tire COMBO for GL1800 G704/G709
ITEM CODE: WSBRCOMBO,   SKU: WSBRCOMBO

Absolutely love these for the twisties. Got 17000 KM before my first rear change (included a run form Van BC to Madison, Toronto and back across Canada)and at that time the front was still good. Pulled a trailer on the second long run to Reno and through the canyons. BIG MISTAKE, this is a top notch twisty tire but softer compound, trailer and USA hot concrete spells a max of 7000KM. Ouch!! But I doubt there is a tire rated for pullin' a trailer.

See earlier post named 6 month update from 11-12-13. I've been using this unit for almost 3 years now and would not ride without it. It still needs to have the sensors blown out once in awhile but that's my only complaint. Battery life is as advertised. I've been changing them every 9-10 months but could go longer. Had something odd happen the other day. I picked up a 30 caliber shell casing in the rear tire on a rural road. The shell went into the Bridgestone tire like a cookie cutter. It sealed itself in and held air pressure. I immediately knew it was there because it thumped on every revolution of the tire. I still had 18 miles to get home. I was wondering if I drove it slow, how long the brass case would last before the road ate it up and turned it from a casing into a tube and let all the air out. I drove slow (25) on the shoulder and watched my TPMS like a hawk. To my surprise I made it all the way. I didn't have to guess how my tire was holding up, the TPMS told me. Once again, this is the best piece of gear I ever installed on my wing.

ISO-Grips Black for use w/OEM Heated Grips for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU6383,   SKU: KU6383

05.16.2016
About 40 minutes to install both sides. Hardest part was getting the rubber sleeves in the right spot.

Suggestion to make it really easy. Use a couple of small soft jaw grip clamps, and a dull plastic scrapper or wide flat blade screwdriver. Get the rubber in the slots and hooked on one side. Use the clamps to pull it down toward the grip, then use the scrapper to push the rubber into the other side of the slot. Repeat process for other half and use clamps to hold together to install screws.

Hope these hold up better than the chrome version. I got about 4 years on them and they where in really bad shape.

Install was as the directions said and after 3 trips everything is still in place. I like the fact that when the receiver is removed you can't tell my bike has a hitch.

Black Ride Off Center Stand for GL1800
ITEM CODE: CJ1800BL,   SKU: CJ1800BL

I installed it as per the instructions, after I finished and tested it it was uneven. I tested it in several flat surfaces and street and the left side as you sit on the bike does not secure to the ground, it rested on the foot handle. The other point: when you engage reverse to put it one the center stand the starter motor strains to back it into position, thats with just one person on it. I don't think the motor will have enough power to lift it into position with two people on it. I do not recommend this product. The only reason I didn't return it is because I tried to straighten it with a rubber mallet and got frustrated, I just put the stock center stand back on.
