I would have to say Bridgestone rebate is the biggest disappointment ever. I ordered my tires combo from Wingstuff because of a so call rebate that Wingstuff was advertising for Bridgestone. Sent in my rebate and I was told I am not going to get the $50.00 rebate because I didn't have a receipt that they were installed by a dealer. The person I spoke to at Bridgestone rebate didn't really care about the customer at all. The person at Bridgestone I spoke to said we have this wrote at the bottom of the rebate form wrote real small. I think they do this so they don't have to pay out the $50.00. I asked the person if I could have my tires installed by a dealer which was after 7/4/2016 and the person from Bridgestone said I was to late to do that. If it would not have of took Bridgestone rebate email three weeks to respond to my rebate, I possibly could of had the tire mounted by a dealer. The Bridgestone rebate person didn't care if you bought Bridgestone tires ever. I am writing about my experience with Bridgestone so maybe the next person purchasing tires from Wingstuff don't get screwed like I did. |
| Additionally, these tires are not yet available in Canada and you can't beat the Wingstuff price. |
| Personally, I like these tires. Used the E3s for many years. There appears to be less rolling resistance although I find the tires a little nosier than their predecessor. After more than 3000 miles, I have yet to see any cupping. I had the tires installed, balanced and for double security, I have the bead balancers. Seems like a pretty good tire to me. |
| Super easy install and really shows off the back of the F6B day or night. |
| Excellent packaging and instructions. Top shelf product. Took about an hour to install and tune-in. Really completes the look of any '12 Gl1800 or F6B. |
| I found that this converter does not work properly with trailers with led lights. The signal light will not not flash when the brake lights are on. |

Klock Werks was very fare with me. I pay shipping & restock fee. I replaced the 16" with the 14" and it works better then the stock shield, Looks nice. Only negative is full turn left and the cables hit a little. So for that 4 stars. As far as WingStuff -1 star on this one. I called them about my shield being scratched by the fender extender that some fool put in the box with the shield. They said it could not of scratched the shield since both had factory packaging. That was not true since they cut the package that the fender extender came in and folded it over. That edge is what scratched the shield while bouncing its way to my house. Also I was told "Did you remove the plastic cover off the shield?" I said yes since I would not have seen the scratch had I left it on. Reason #2 that I own it was I took the plastic sheeting off. So at this point I can say I will not buy a shield from my old buddy Rick again. PS I have known Rick since before he Started wingstuff & will keep supporting him but no more Shields. $100 lesson learned |
| The chrome finish in excellent and all of the parts fit well. These are my second set, the first set was on my last Wing. Over the course of nearly 8 years in the rain of western Washington state, there was very little rust and the chrome finish was holding up very well. I will see how these do over the course of this coming year. |

I cut slots in the rear side holes and it made rear panel installation very easy. Without doing that, I am sure it would have went much harder. The front panel looks absolutely hideous. It nowhere near follows the contours of the bike. Unbelievable they would sell something that fits so poorly. I will keep this on as it will help protect my bike... but if I see another brand that doesn't look so bad.. I'll likely replace it. Notice they never show a picture from the front! |
| Didn't like the extra heat after installing it. Removed it the next day. Will be looking for a had crafted part to only cover the plastic coolant tank which I saw some place in a Goldwing blog. |
| Easy to install. Works as advertised, the seat still does not get as hot as the heated seats in my car, but it is comfortably warm and noticeably warmer than the stock configuration. |
| real tight, had to use 2' crow bar to get bolts started. What a pain, 4 hrs later it is finally done. Now for the wiring. |
