I very rarely give 5 star reviews for anything, but these shields are great. Had on on my '03 also. They really do shed rain, and they really do hold up their clarity over the years. I'm not in any way associated with F4. |

First off, my instructions were wrong as far as OEM L turn signal wire ID. They have been subsequently corrected, so if you've had one for awhile and are just now installing it, be sure to download the current instructions, don't use the ones in the box. Secondly, the blinking function is barely noticeable although the running lights are fine. I asked them about this, and they said they recommend the use of their aux fuse block, as that will pull power from the battery instead of the Canbus. Well OK, however that's another over $100. The units should have been designed without the need for this. And I don't need an aux fuse block. The only accessory I have that doesn't wire directly to the bike's harness, is a radar detector, and that's easily run to the accessory screw on the OEM fuse block. Thirdly, the spade connectors that they provide, do not make very solid connections. I'd highly recommend positaps for the very thing gauge OEM running and turn signal wires. |
| I have bought many 100's of dollars of Kuryakyn products and the chrome plating on every single one has been horrible. The chrome plating has lasted barely a year on a travel rack, cruise pegs and drink holders. The chrome plating deficiency is at least consistent across their product line, I guess. I have spent many 100's of dollars on their products and have initially been delighted in the modern design and fitment, but have ALWAYS, with every product, been disappointed with the chrome deteriorating prematurely. Know, before you buy, that the products are well engineered and fitment is impeccable but that you are buying a very short lived product as far as real world functionality. Most other after market companies seem to have "gotten the memo" and listened to their customer base. Kuryakyn without a doubt, has totally disregarded their customers call for an equally well engineered product with better quality chrome plating. They have been producing the same "junk" chrome plating for years now. |
| Just put them on. Took literally 30 minutes total. And thats including cleaning the inside of a dirty fender for the 3m tape. They look good. Hoping it eliminates some of the dirt and dust that comes up from the back tire. Looks like they belong, not some after thought. I recommend them. |
| It took me about 30 minutes from start to finish. They are big enough for a passenger but they don't get in the way when getting on or off. I would recommend and one of the most reasonable prices ones out too. |
| Not the easiest install but hang in there and be patient. The rubber is pretty pliable and can be a little hard to get the front side chrome piece to engage the inside piece. I used a flat tip screw driver to get the rubber to protrude through the openings in the chrome piece. I also used zip ties between the protruding rubber to help the two chrome pieces to engage. |
| Install is straight forward, easy adjustment and wow these lights are bright, very pleased with increased visibility. Having no factory on off switch was for me an easy tradeoff for not having to disassemble all the body work. |

OK, First, my review. I love them! They work great, very high quality and look amazing on the bike. Install was a bit challenging but not impossible. Very Important!!! I installed mine on an F6B, What I didn't know before I bought this kit is that the F6B has different turn signal connectors at the mirror than a standard Goldwing has. Unfortunately Show Chrome's solution to this issue is a sentence in the instructions that reads... If you have an F6B... cut the connectors and splice into the existing cable/s. What? No adapter? WTF!!!! Well, if you ever tried soldering and shrink tubing 3 wires together 6 times with 2 inches of cable slack by yourself... you'll know where I'm coming from on this. Couple that with the fact that they only tell you which wires are Ground, Signal and Running Light on their supplied cable and completely skip over which wires on the bike they need to connect to. Super frustrating to say the least and many head shakes with expletives were yelled during this process. I did get through it though and sadly... I found a solution after all the soldering and bitching. The solution is to buy an adapter from their competitor, Add On Accessories. Navigate over to the Pathfinder Running lights and add their "Pathfinder Adapter Plug Harness for G18DTS/G18DTC/G18RFL F6B 2013-2016" to your purchase. With the adapter it truly will be plug and play for your F6B. Overall I really like this kit, just wish I would have known about the lack of an adapter beforehand. Hope this helps. |

1. I see they've fixed the instructions, but on my set of front and rears, they had the instructions reversed for identifying the color of the OEM running and turn wires. This caused me an unbelievable amount of time trying to figure out what I was doing wrong until I tried reversing wires. It's obviously they never gate a prototype to someone not involved with the project for a test install. Pretty unforgivable. 2. The spade connectors they provide make a lousy connection to the OEM wires. The wires are just to thin for the use of these things. I'd suggest positaps or something else. Besides tearing my hair out because of the bad instructions, I had to remove all 12 spade connectors and wire twist heat shrink everything. 3. The blinking function is barely noticeable. |
| Although these are on the pricey side they are well made and have an indefinite amount of adjustment. They could do a better job of marking the parts left or right but overall went on good and look good on the bike |

ok not sure why this is the second one to die each lasted maybe year, they really need to fix this issue wish I knew some how to get Küryakyn to listen apparently I am not only one like I said looks great and works great till it dies bot of mine have been led on left side |
| I just bought this new Ciro phone holder and I will admit that it's a nicely made holder HOWEVER the mounting screws DO NOT FIT Goldwing, I have an '06 Goldwing and a '16 Goldwing F6B, the screw threads fit neither one. I hope to get a refund and get one that is for a Goldwing. |
