Purchased this item for a 2016 GL 1800. Last line in it's description says it fits 2001 - 2014 GoldWing. Wingstuff reports it will fit 2016. "Fitment" indicates it will fit 2016. So far, it does fit. Since I've lost the empty CD changer space on my 2001, I'm looking to separate items in the trunk. This looks like a good choice. The test however won't be until late August. If possible, I'll update this review then.
Ordered these chrome side covers after losing the right side. The left side fit perfectly, but the right side appears to be slightly too big. I had a hard time getting the plastic nubs to align with the rubber grommets, but eventually got it on. Took the bike for a ride, hut a bump and lost the right side again. When I went back to retrieve it the chrome finish had cracked and shattered. Not what I expected for what I paid for. Not sure what to do, but definitely not going to spend the money and buy another set
Gotta save some bucks really nice piece! I defiantly want this item.
My Dunlaps were cupping both front and rear. I always felt a vibration in the foot pegs and thought it was a drive line problem developing. I just replaced my steering hub bearings (with the “roller” kit), and installed the Bridgestones. WOW. What a different bike. It rides as smooth as silk, and handles like my CBR1000RR!!!! Highly recommend!
I installed floorboards, which raised my foot to where I felt uncomfortable when applying the rear brake. Adding this cover alleviated that issue plus with the rubber inserts adds a extra added measure of safety when applying the brakes over the stock metal Honda footbrake.
Saw these another Wing & after checking them out I ordered a set. A must have in my opinion. Takes care of the stock "pencil grips". Says to use hair spray to install them but I use Dawn & water & they slipped right on after removing the end weights. No need to cut to fit-they're made for my 2015 Tour.
They makes life so easy the instruction were on point and it only took about 33 min to installed
My 01 only had 12000 miles when I bought it, but the bike was very low and the ride was quite rough. I swapped this spring out myself. I didn't disconnect the hydraulic hose, by removing the 2 shot mount bolts and bolting the lower shock bolt to the upper shock mount I was able to replace the spring while it was within the length of the hose travel then reinstalled the spring in proper position. ""Note"" I also changed the air filter while the tank was out it was super easy that way., consider it when buying the spring. Ride was awesome and this is my 3rd 1800, and 3rd shock spring replacement. A Must do! Tried another brand first, the bike bottomed out on 20 and hurt my back, definitely use the progressive!
These are a great fit and easy to install. The extra lights really makes a difference. Highly recommend.
Theses really change the look of the bike. They fit nice and are very secure, highly recommend.
Great quality and nice fit. Very fast service will get lots of use out of them
Recently changed low beam headlight to the Electronic Connection H7 bulbs. Love the lights and only wish I had changed earlier. Great light, love the true white light. Fairly easy to install. Instructions were good but my senior eyes were somewhat of a problem.
