You asked for it and we listened. Inventory tracking is now a part of the new WingStuff experience. It's one of the most requested features that we've been consistently hearing about from our customers over the years. We know we're a little behind the times, but hey, better late than never, right? As a company we are always trying to improve ourselves, and in return, the overall customer experience. Inventory tracking has pretty much become a standard of the online shopping experience, and we are happy that we can finally bring this feature to all of our loyal customers.
Product pages now indicate if an item is in stock or not, as well as the estimated time frame before the item will ship to you. Below are some examples of the different stock messages and "Ships in" time frames.
When an item is in stock and available to ship within a 48 hour window, the message will look like this:
When an item has to be custom ordered and will take additional time before it can be shipped, the message will look like this:
(Lead times will vary depending on what type of product is being custom ordered)
When an item is available but may require some additional lead time before shipping, the message will look like this:
(Lead times will vary depending on what type of product is being ordered)
In addition to stock indicators and estimated shipping time frames, we have also included another new feature that goes hand in hand with the inventory tracking. When an item is out of stock you have the option of entering your email address in order to be added to a waitlist. As soon as that product is back in stock you will be notified via email. From the email you can go directly to that product and purchase it.
We hope that changes like this will help improve your experience with WingStuff going forward. Stay tuned for more new features that we will be highlighting over the next few weeks. Thank you to all of our loyal customers for the feedback on the new site. We will always listen to what you have to say and try and improve your experience.
