I have a problem with the engine heat on my legs and feet. My Legs and feet are sensitive to both heat and cold. Will the Wings deflect the heat off of my legs?

The lower of the two side air deflectors is supposed to be for directing hot engine air away from you in hot weather, where they work well, and onto you in cold weather, where they help a little bit. I usually move only the top one of the two side deflectors. The video shows only the mirror hand wings and the dual side air deflectors, but does not show the leg wings or the foot wings that mount onto the engine guards. I have had my full set of Baker Built Air Wings for about six of the nine years that I've had my GL-1800. They are an essential part of the bike, in my opinion, and greatly improve airflow in hot weather and prevent you from getting wet in rainy weather (especially the foot wings).

My issue is that if they loosen within a short period of time then flop freely. You can certainly tighten them sufficiently to stay in place, but then can't change their angle as conditions change without them loosening.
