So, how does one get there? What are your suggestions for great roads once there?

It looks so very beautiful! How I wish that it were closer and more accessible to us in the midwest. :-)

Bellissimo percorso da fare.
Come si potrebbe fare per organizzare dall'Italia, per il prossimo anno?

Hey Lawrence! Simply make your way to the 10 Freeway and take it to the park’s southern entrance. Or you could always combine the ride out to Joshua Tree with a trip through the San Bernardino Mountains and the Mojave Desert to arrive at either of the two northern entrances.

Other roads to consider, if you make it out there, are the Twenty Nine Palms Highway, Loop from Palm Springs on Hwy 62 to Joshua Tree down through Cottonwood, Dylan road in the Indio area or ride through Box Canyon and into Joshua Tree National Park.

Also, Keys View is a short ride up to a 5,185-foot-high vista in the park’s southwestern corner. Keys View has amazing views of Mt. San Jacinto, the Coachella Valley, and even some days, the Salton Sea.

Or, if you’d like to do a long ride from Big Bear to Joshua Tree, check out this link: http://www.sundaymorningrides.com/road/9730082/

Hope this helps!
