Goldwing Covers Kuryakyn Primo Full Waterproof Cover

I've only had this cover for a short while, but it doesn't take long to identify quality. I've had some cheaper covers, and they fall apart in a year or tear at the drop of a hat. This cover is NOTHING like that. It's soft and lined in the right places, and somewhat stiffly reinforced in others (where needed). I was concerned about the antenna base being sharp, since that's what ate my last one, but Kury seems to have caught on that some padding is needed there. Very pleased...Happy Motoring!

I have this cover and my goldwing is stored outside. Its a motorcycle not art. This cover has coped with freezing temperatures, two icings in freezing rainstorms, a blizzard of 28 inches of snow and multiple snow storms. As well as dealing with the humid and wet rain storms that plagued us this year. I took it off this weekend as the temperature finally climbed above freezing and the bike was perfect, clean as it was when I washed and covered it about a month ago. Had no signs of water pooling or leakage. The cover gets easier to handle after you break it in a bit and just be careful as you are handling a piece of heavy material the size of a moderate tent. The cover rocks in my mind.

I've been using this cover for a couple of months now. Living in the desert, I've had a chance to see how it reacts in both very cold and hot weather and I have to say this is a very well made cover. It is easy to install and can go on a hot bike. The only shortcoming is the lack of padding around the antena. I wrap a towel around mine to prevent cutting it. It is small enough to carry, but there is no way to lock it to the bike.

I've had these on my 04 Gl and they all lasted about a year, got one for my new 2008 and the Kuryakyn logo was upside down and it let in a lot of water. There was no problem with getting a new one and returning the leaky one. (Bought this from local store).

This is one of those items that you really need but one you really need to know about BEFORE you buy. The cover is an excellent cover for the most part. It has a felt area for the windshield, the buckles tie it together and holds in the fiercest winds, it can be put on the bike while it's hot, and I found that so long as you have a corner to stuff it in it travels well too! BUT: mine had no real reinforcement at the antennnas nor does it have a pass through like some others I've used. What this means is that when the antennas are folded down mine cut right through it!! Now maybe my antennas are abnormally sharp; either way a LITTLE reinforcement would have gone a long way. That's why I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Ride safe my friends!!
