GL1500 Goldwing Hollywood Mufflers FREE SHIPPING

I received my mufflers and took them out of the box right away. Looked them over and was impressed with the welds, they were very nice. The chrome all looked good. Installed them myself, took about an hour total. Once I had the mufflers off I used a scotchbrite pad to clean the pre-muffler where the muffler goes over it, wiped it down with a rag to remove any residue and then put a coat of anti-sieze compound on the entire area with an acid brush. The left muffler slid right on and in place perfectly. Put the right one on and it didn't line up exact like the left so I then loosened up the pre-muffler bolts and then it went on great. Tightened everything up and gave it a test fire-up. Loved the silky growl that I heard and gave the throttle a few turns, more love of the sound. My wife is not really into loud bikes (we ride with some HD's) but she said the sound reminded her of the Mustang GT that she used to have. I have taken the bike on a couple of short rides so far. I like how the sound mellows in 5th gear so it hasn't disturbed the stereo sound in my opinion. But I also like that in 1st and 2nd it sounds like a bike with the power that the Goldwing has.

I just installed these mufflers yesterday and am very pleased with the new sound. Really makes the bike come alive! No need for baffles it sounds great without them!

Just bought these mufflers and they sound really good. They sound better than my tired old mufflers. They seem to give the wing a little more power and look great too. Well worth the money.

Had my Hollywoods for a year now. Sound was a great improvement. Went from putt putt to vroom vroom... Kid you not! Might be just my imagination but I think the bike has better pick up. Guess it should though, huh? For those alone I want to give them 5 stars however within the first couple weeks the chrome started a little pitting. Still I'm glad I got rid of the factory exhaust after 18 years (More proof Goldwings are made to last). Going to the hollywoods was enough to make me go ahead and puchase the additional pipes that replace the exaust chamber.

Installed my new Torq Monster and Hollywood pipes yesterday. WOW! Awesome sound, I can not imagine ever using the free baffles. It did take a month to finally get them, however it proved to be well worth the wait. Can't wait to show them off at the Lone Star Rally. Thanks to Jimmy for the pipes and WingStuff for making them affordable.
