I have been looking at these torqmaster pipes for a while and finally bought them for my GL1800 Gold Wing along with the optional baffles included. I must say these really sound nice and noticed an impressive increase in power and throttle response. 
The difference is noticed when rolling on the power at an extremely low rpm, the motor no longer takes time to respond, it pulls strong and smooth with no lag. I also noticed a slight increase in fuel mileage which was not expected The stock GL1800 exhaust is just too restrictive, what I learned is the motor came alive and performed better than ever after I removed the restrictive stock mufflers. I would recommend getting the optional baffles so you can make it real quiet and still have the performance gain whenever you wish. I tried them with and without and prefer the sound with them out, if I leave on a long trip for a few days as we often do, I would insert them so it's nice and quiet for my wife back there. I must mention with the optional baffles it performs almost the same as without them which is great. Highly Recommend! John |

I have had my King Snakes since the begining of this riding season. Instalation was very easy took about an hour. I can tell you the pipes sound great and get louder as your trips get longer. I love them so don't wait you'll love them to. Jimmy at Torqmaster is great and will help in any way if you need it.

Installed today, simple straight forward took about an hour, sound is as indicated by other reviewers and I am very pleased, it now sounds like a hopped up porsche 911, a very sweet note. Lets remember we are driving a high performance 6 cylinder bike not a RUMBLING VTWIN, so don't expect to EVER get that sound, like anyone of us would want it after A WING!!

Installation was pretty easy and pipes look very nice. I agree with the other reviews that the pipes aren't as loud as expected but they do have a deeper rumble than stock. I haven't taken any long trips yet so I can't speak as to any improved mpg. Overall, I'd say the pipes were a good investment.

Installation was easy,fit was good, the sound is nice, not to loud but a nice rumble, the best part was the 2-4 mpg improvement depending on how you drive it, cracking the throttle and downshifting to hear the rumble kills mileage but a highway run being easy on the gas it will get 50mpg, Jim, Green Bay, Wi.
