Chatterbox Noise Reducing Goldwing Headset

these are by far the worst headsets. only one side works, cannot understand the wife (sometimes not a bad thing). the volume is not there, had real bad wind noise. going to try the J&M elite headsets.

Chatterbox communication is junk. Both driver and passenger headsets crapped out in a year. I was able to fix the driver's headset with some Radio Shack headphones on both for a short period of time but then the connector cable opened up on me on the passenger headset. I had to rate this with a one-star, but even that is too much for this manufacturer.

First headset I've ever purchased so wasn't sure what to expect. Ordered the full face model. Only real issue was the Velcro disk did not stay adhered to the inside of my helmet. My wife hasn't has that issue. Get wind noise from the passenger, but this sounds like a common occurance. All in all I feel this is a pretty solid set, and if people are saying there are better ones than this out there, I'd like to "hear" the difference.

I have had these head sets for over three years and used them on my Venture Royal and now on my wing and have had no problem at all. In fact with my Yamaha I had them on half helmets, and with my wing I mounted them in open face helmets. Great for the price with NO PROBLEMS at all.

We've had two of the full face helmet models for just over 6 years. I'm having to replace the coiled cord on both sets after all the use they've seen. The outer covering on the cord is splitting in several places on both units, though they both continue to work fine. These are NOT the best quality available on the market, but they are worth the price. Ours have seen heavy use on a Venture and a Wing and have held up with the exception of the coiled cords. 4 stars.
