Purchased last spring put on over 16000 mi. all kind of conditions from snow to blazing heat. The redesigned version never hit once, looks as good as the day they were installed.

Sorry Guys I should have posted a note last year I got these and let me say I was very PISSED. First they came with double back tape, not bad if it wasn't in the wind path. Second when you hit a hard bump in the road at slow speed they bottomed out and got dented at the top of each one of the front halfs. So I ripped them off and kissed away $40 + bucks. Can't give it a 0 STAR

Thes dust covers are pieces of crap. Won't stick worth a damn, even though the horrible Kuryakyn directions were followed to a "T". Went through two replacement sets that fell off almost immediately, even AFTER the "big fix". However, the fork brace these are for is GREAT, so maybe it balances out. See my review on the fork brace! BTW, Wingstuff DID refund my money for the dust covers, so 5-stars for that!

Not happy at all with these covers, ordered the first set with the brace, the fit was not there. returned to wingstuff, got new covers, either these are not the new redesigned covers or Kuryakyn made a big mistake in designing these covers, same problem they do not fit properly, also the instructions are horrible. Usually Kurykan is right on. What happened??? Hopefully Wingstuff will let me return these or replace with the correct covers if there is such a thing.

Just a ditto to what has been said already. These "look" great, but are totally a design mess. Front forks "bottom out" on top of these covers over any little dip or bump in the road. I have to slow to about 2 mph when entering my driveway just so they don't bottom. It just sounds terrible. My neighbors thought my front suspension was faulty. I finally ripped them off and they were really dented. Now I've got to work at getting the sticky foam adhesive removed too. Stay away from these at all cost!
P.S. I hope Kury will redesign these so they will perform like Kury products should. |
