Goldwing Motorcycle Kickstand Disc

This worked great until after a year when it cracked in the middle. Showchrome had a good idea, but need to manufacture these thicker to handle the weight of larger motorcycles. John

I have had one of these kickstand discs for years (purchased it before WingStuff started offering it). I have never had a problem with it bending or cracking. I attached a bright orange lanyard which I slip over the clutch handle to remind me not to leave it. I have had a couple of people walk up to the bike and ask what sort of security device the disc/lanyard was. Ha, ha, ha. Anyway, if you are concerned that the Gold Wing is too heavy for it (and you don't want to hunt for a soda can to crush) you might want to look into getting a Center Stand Replacement (CRS). It is sold by WingStuff and allows you to reverse onto your center stand with ease. When you are ready to go you simply drive off your center stand. No more manually rolling the bike onto its OEM center stand.

Looks nice but needs to be thicker in the center to hold up to the weight of a Goldwing or other heavy bike. Mine has not cracked, but my friend has one and his already cracked. Probably would not buy again. John

I have used this a lot and really like it. It is a solid part and will not bend under the weight of the bike on any surface and it is big enough to not sink into a soft surface.
