My hands cramped with the stock ones. Put these on and love them. Be sure to grease the pivots and don't over tighten them. |

I also was unable to use my CC after installing these chrome levers. I had brake lights - just couldn't set my Cruise Control any longer. They're in a drawer out in the garage now - a waste of money. |

Chrome, can't beat that but the feel of the lever compared to the stock out of this world. Its a cheep up grade but worth it. |

The dangerous part here is that I rode with them for a few days not realizing that my brake lights were not coming on. I only realized that there was a problem with the levers when I couldn't get the cruise control to work. Not good at all. They look good though but if you get rear-ended it won't matter. |

I personally used the Kuryakyn wide style levers myself but either way, they add a nice clean look. Don't forget the reservoir covers. |

I purchased both the brake and the clutch lever. They get points for looking nice and because these are one of the ONLY levers I've found out there for an '89, but after installing them I found that both levers were not making contact with my brake light switches and the cruise switch (located directly under each lever). Both switches were replaced, in case the issue was wear on their part, but the brake switch still required me to add aluminum tape to the lever to build it up enough to contact both switches. Loss of points for flawed design. |
