Very short

it's very short and makes my movements very difficult. When I want to get to rear trunk with my helmet on its impossible so I have to unplug it and plugin again is not as smooth as it should be. I foun all J&M products are low-mid quality for a branded company. |

Second set sounds satisfactory
| The first set I had I bought from the Honda dealer, that was a bad transaction from the start. I could not get any sound unless I played with the cord bending it back and fourth. I ordered my second set, great improvement with sound and it sounds good. My 4 star rating comes from dealing with the manufacturer on their return of defective items ... simply put "it sucks"! I only by my motorcycle products from WingsStuff now. |

Just the Right Length
| I purchased two these items. They are short but I like it because the cable runs straighter, with a slight dip and doesn't bang against my gas tank like others I have seen. (Short Rider, 5ft 7) |

Too Short
| Bought this cord in Apr 13 we have been using it but it is very short and limits mobility as an example when getting on and off the bike it has to be disconnected. This is a problem because it is not easily connected to the bike. The connection has a cup the bike side of the cord has to mate with and it is really tight to the point it is frustrating to connect my wife just gives up and hands it to me. Our work around is she gets on the bike with the cord connected and then puts her helmet on after I hand it to her. I will never buy J&M products again I especially do not care for proprietary cords! |

Perfect fit
| I installed the J&M headset and mic in an open face HJC helmet. The cable fit just right and connected to my 2006 model GL1800 installed intercom/audio cable connector. Fit is nice and tight as to keep the cables from coming disconnected during riding. Great product. I'll now order one for the passenger helmet. |

Needed Equipment
| I had to get this to go with the JM headset I installed.. Not all that crazy about the three connect points..Or disconnects with this headset. The one on the helmet,the one mid way down, and the one that connects to the bike..But that's just me. Over all its a good headset. The Honda line headset sound better but cost twice this so I guess it all works out... |

| This product dos not fit the Elite 629 headset I am in Australia and need the headsets working for the coming weekends meet & greet At Port Stevens New South Wale Ulysses Club Gathering I am very disappointed the big end of this cable fits into the Goldwing sockets but the small end dos not fit into the Headset you would think the people at J&M would know what part fits what only 1 Star not for product quality its great but for sending the wrong parts to Australia its not as though its next its a week or 6 days to get parts Cheers Geoff Yorkie Brown Ulysses 53189 Sydney Australia God Bless America |

Works fine - no dramas. Bought two of these but am going to keep in my trunk as spares because I've decided to buy the version with the volume control (see my review of that product for more info). If you're starting out I suggest you're better off spending your money on the version with volume control from the outset. |
