Great Highway Pegs!
| I've had my 2012 Goldwing for a year now and definitely needed to change my foot positions for longer rides. I tried a few different kinds of pegs because the price tag on these Kuryakyn pegs is a bit high, let me save you the trouble - nothing from ebay or amazon in the cheap $$ department worked right. They cheapos don't fit correctly, so don't waste your time like I did. Just buy these. The old phrase "buy once cry once" applies. I was hesitant to buy these based on the other comments regarding installation, but for me installation was easy. 30 minutes to do both sides and I was riding right away. I do, however, recommend having or buying a needle nose vice grips in order to install the 4 very small metal dowel pins. If you don't have a way to hold the dowel pin while hammering it you will have a bad time. Using my needle nose vice grips and a hammer, the dowel pins went right in for me, I felt like I won the lottery! I chose these Ergo II's over the Ergo III's based on how complicated the install looked and what the ride position looked like online. These Ergo II 4056's fit me perfectly, and I'm 5'8" if that helps anyone out. Great product, and I wish I would have installed them a year ago when I bought the bike! |

Great value
| I previously bought some cheap highway pegs made in China, which broke the very first time I put any weight on the peg. So I got these, and they are great! Everything is very solid, and they are well designed and fit my 2010 GL1800 perfectly. I had little trouble installing, as the instructions are good. The most difficult step was inserting the roll pins, but I have a bench vice (plus pliers and a hammer), so it wasn't too bad. I would recommend these to any GL1800 1st Gen owner. |

ERGO II Pegs for my 2016 Goldwing
| I have installed these types of driver pegs on my old bike and I did not use the video at all. I validated that all the parts were in the package, then did a 'dry run' of the assembly, just to make sure I understood how to mount them on the newer bike. It was very easy to install them, and then make a few final adjustments, after the first couple of 'hour long' rides. I noted the socket and special wrench sizes, just in case I ever have to adjust them in the future.They are excellent and I would recommend them to any ride with an 1800 Goldwing. |

Better directions would help
| I reviewed the Kuryakin installation video both before and after reading the instructions. I rate it as USELESS. Then in frustration I watched Cruiseman's video. It covers the installation from start to finish and really is the video that should be used by the manufacturer.Note for trike riders; you must drop the front of the running boards in order to get the mount on the engine guard |

Roll pins
| Damn, the reviews are 100% true. Absolutely the worst. During installation I needed a pair of needle nose pliers and a hammer to get them in. Got them in or so I thought. While walking form inside back out to the bike apparently one of them was not really seated and disappeared into the abyss of my parking lot. I have a email into Kuryakyn and hopefully they will send out replacement pins. These pins truly need to come preinstalled as others have stated. |

| High quality and easy to install. The comments about the little black roll pins is accurate. I found pressing them in with a vice worked pretty well. It took two of us, one hold the pin with a needle nose and the other one to tighten the vice. Other than that installed quickly and easily, very heavy and made very well. Super happy with them and I'm glad to read they helped protect the bike a little as well when laid down. |

Watch out!!
| Product quality & performance are outstanding. Instructions a little weak, but one can sort out. There is a bag of little parts and in it are 4 VERY VERY small roll pins. 2 hit the bench and rolled onto the floor. I found 1 but had to go to hardware store for the 2nd. |

Good but broke
| I had them for a week. Amazing I might add: really helped with a 3k motorcycle trip. But the little black piece that goes on top of the set screw broke clean off when I got into a glorious lowside crash due to oil spill at 15mph. Lost the black cap as well as it just slips in the hole and is very easy to pull out with little force. Tho the pegs survived they did add extra protection. |
