Nice protection of the trunk. I used four instead of five. In the beginning it is hard to close the trunk, but in time that is not a problem anymore. They will protect my trunk when driving with full loaded rack bag. |

The front ones were a bit tricky to install but eventually got them in. No more of that slamming trunk lid when I hit a bump! Sure don't miss that noise. I can see where one could break them off when installing but well worth the money. |

Bought them, drilled the holes and installed them. One has disappeared and another one is coming out of the hole and the base is tearing through. Disappointed but will buy another set, have to I now have holes in my trunk. I have to put something in the holes. |

Should have listened to the other reviews. I installed tham two weeks ago and have not been happy. The lid would not close without pulling on the seat. The "open" light rarely went out and the truck release on the key fob would not work because there was to much presure on the lid. I instaled as the instructions stated, but the bumpers are to long. I count them down about 1/4 inch and they work better. |

These plugs are not easy to install at the front where their is double plastic and the tips are hard to get at. I did snap off two tips trying to pull at what was their to hold. After calling the company to try to get replacements they did not did not reply.NO PRODUCT SUPPORT! This is not a big investment but they should be their like most of the companies that make products for the goldwing. In my opinion Dont buy them! |

Just installed these and wish I would have when the bike was new. The trunk lid fits much better and using the pull technique as mentioned in the instructions I have no issue closing the trunk. The template is bang on and install was easy. I cut the template along all the lines not just the dotted one, ironed it flat. As mentioned earlier use a smaller bit first for a pilot hole (there is no room for error). When pulling the bumper tip through twist back and forth on the bumper body and it will pop in place, remember to use a compatible lubricant, dish soap works great. I'm hoping mine won't lean/deform by using the pull technique but time will only tell. |

Have had these two months now. Have mixed feelings about them. They are a little too long. This has caused them to deform some or lean like the leaning tower of pizza. They do the intended job, just don't look so good. Installation was not that hard. used a jewelers screw driver to knead the bumper in the hole. Like drilling any holes in your plastic, be sure to start off with a smaller drill bit so your drill doesn't walk. |

Yes, you have to drill holes in your "baby". Yes, they make it a little harder to close the trunk lid. Yes, the tips break off if you pull them through wrong (which is why they give 5 - one to ruin). But they work as advertised and the instructions and templates could not have been better. R.B.B.B.s rock! |

I'm giving this a 4 star raring, not because they don't they work as advertised and the installation instructions were spot on! I just am not too sure after two weeks of installation if they will serve the intended purpose in the long run. The trunk shuts fine now after two weeks of use, put the bumpers have deformed and in the case of the right forward bumper it is now leaning back, the other three look as though they have been pinch into a vise. So I'm not too sure what I am gaining after deformation of the plugs. They look beat into submission. Not too sure how long they will stay with the bike before I come up with my own solution. For the price you can't beat them, but now there are four nice size holes in my trunk. If you are unsure about putting holes in your trunk, don't do it!! |
