Great product. Crappy instructions. The other reviewers are correct. Can they not write a one page set of instructions? What good is a great product that you can't install? There are installation instruction on the web for these. Insallation isn't hard, but does require some patience, a volt meter, and a soldering iron. Perhaps some Wing rider should write directions for them? |

Excellent product for safety. Priced right... HOWEVER, this company does not have a clue how to install their product on a Gold Wing. NOR do they care. VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY COULD NOT CARE LESS. Their awful directions are useless. I believe you can now find help from the message boards and I do highly recommend installing one. But This Company Needs to get the message to actually WRITE instructions for the Wingers!! Now for the real world lesson. Someone should knock this thing off and put these people out of business. I'm so disappointed we all continue to hand them our $$ and they can't even write a simple one-page set of installation instructions. Bottom Line: buy one, get some friend or on-line help to install and you will be safer. Don't be naive to think - regardless of how handy you are - you can simply get the box and plug and play. It is a half a day translating their diagram and how that might apply to your GW. Geez..... Surely Kisan or Electrical Connection can make one of these AND some instructions for Wingers. |

I just bought the wigwag and can't find anyone locally who will show me how to connect it. Can't figure out which is the brake wire. Don't want to disconnect the wrong wire and can't really understand the instructions. I love added all the knick knack to the bike, but some things I can't do. Could someone show me where the brake wire is. 2006 Honda Goldwing. Ree |

A remarkable little item for big safety! Works GREAT. Thanks "big time" to Big Bob for his e-mail instructions, could not have done it without his step by step instructions. This link has instructions for mounting unit in the trunk & to operate the trunk brake lights: https://greyrockfarm.com/ |

Safety is always on my mind when riding in traffic where safety is not on the mind of the other car operators. That is why I decided to put this in my bike. The instructions are not helpful for putting on the wing, just very basic description. Fortunatly I have the manual and tracked down the wiring locations, wire color, etc. Actual installation time was about 2.5 hrs. The rear brake light wiring (L and R) is located behind the rear fender behind the license plate. A blue wire coupler (R) and a red coupler (L), each with a green wire with a red stripe are the brake light wires. Cut the wires per instructions, run a ground wire and test. Works great and hope it wakes up the other drivers. |

I really like the idea of getting the cagers attention, and nothing does it like modulating brake lites. Only had one problem someone thought I was broken down and started to try and pass me, Till I asked what the hell are you doing.?? |

Thanks to those who posted instruction on this website, it really made more sense once I saw them, even if there were more than one green and red wire going up on the right side, I have a 2005 GL1800. I like the result, I only modulate the outside brake lights on the trunk. contact me if you need some instructions. safe riding. |

love the effects....should be an attention grabber and hopefully help with those tailgaters. It took me a little over an hour to install. Powding's review/explanation was a great help in locating the right wires on my '07 Wing. I would add, at least for the '07...the bundle going up on the right had 5 wires in it (one being the green with red stripe) while the bundle on the left going up was significantly larger making me think it was not the right bundle. This left bundle had 10 wires.....yet, only 1 green with red stripe, the one needed. Vegamax's review also helped....in that you need to also tap into a ground wire ( the solid green wire in either bundle ) to complete the installation. I did use only 1 input ( either side ) and just taped off the other unused input. |

Since I have received more than a couple of e-mails about this I thought I’d submit this post. Disclaimers: I don't know if this is good on any other than 2006 model Goldwings. This is for hooking up the modulator to the trunk lights only, leaving the saddlebag lights to function normally. This is for do-it-yourselfer’s who aren’t afraid of working on motorcycles or wiring. There may be a better way to install this that I have overlooked. I take no responsibility for the accuracy of my memory. After removing the rear tire cover (what the license plate mounts to) you should see a good size bundle of wiring with a cover and some plugs. If you look closely you'll see that a smaller group leaves on the left & right side going toward the front of the bike and then upward. Note: I had already traced these groups of wires back down from the trunk lighting by removing the bottom of the trunk but once you know where it is it's not necessary to do this. I carefully cut back the tape on these two bundles to expose the wires inside them. Even in good light it may be difficult to identify the green wire with the red stripe. (hint: there will be only one wire of this color combo in each bundle). I clipped this wire on both sides, verifying one at a time by hitting the brake that I had the correct wire. Now it's just a matter of following the instructions that came with the modulator to tie into these wires. I soldered my wiring using shrink wrap to insulate my connections but you can use whatever method you’re familiar with to make the connections. Just make sure you wrap the bundles back up with good quality electrical tape since this area gets some road spray off the rear tire. This would be especially true for northerners with salt on the roads in fall, winter, & spring. There is plenty of room to mount the modulator back in this area. Just make sure that it and the wiring are out of the way of re-installing the rear tire cover. Enjoy the added safety. |

Installed two in the last week, The first one took it longer but took off more than was needed the second one went very smoothe. He i note there has been a upgrade of these so they work right on our lights, the diffence in the units seems to be the size of the white and red wire which is larger on the right module. looks good. I wired up to the top brake lights only left lowers alone. |
