I just installed my new set this week and took her for an extended spin. Wow, what a difference! Now instead of sort of dreading the ride to Des Moines for Wing Ding, I am really looking forward to it. Two back-to-back 500 mile days are going to be fun. I bought the black powder coated model when they first came out. The improvement in ride, handling, and reduced fatigue was impressive. I didn't like the look of the black ones on the bike without rotor covers so I sold them and replaced them with a set of the stainless. Same great ride and great looking!! |

I had a set of these put on a while back. My first impresssion was "not worth the money". Then While I was cleaning the wheels I noticed there was still a wheel weight on the rim. You know the "clip-on" style. The weight was loose and moving within the rim on the ridge. I removed all of the wheel weights and now the balancers are great. Very smooth! I recommend removing all wheel weights after you install these! That was the problem I had. |

I just installed these and all I can say is WOW!!! The bike rides smoother and feels more grounded in the turns! They aren't cheap, but definitely work as advertised! For all the nay sayers out there, try a bike that has them and decide for yourself. For me, a great product and highly recommended! |

A buddy of mine ordered the stainless steel polished version of these and handed down his black ones to me. The ones I got had relatively few miles on them, but the paint black (powdercoat?) was flaking off pretty badly. The installation was straightforward enough, but I wondered how many ounces of "balancer" moves through the outer ring of these. It can't be more than a couple of ounces, and with them being so close to the hub, I doubted these would be as effective as other methods (Dynabeads, for example). It sounds as if there is just sand in them. However, my initial experience is they do make some difference. I plan to put them through more trials this week and if feel they require more comment, I may be back. I wish they were finished better and hope they work well especially in the "wobble zone" (accelerating and decelerating between 20-35 mph). |

I installed these along with new Avon Cobra tires and the Super brace on the forks then went on a 2500 mile run. I thought the wing was smooth before, ha. It's almost too smooth to believe it's a motorcycle. Unlike a previous review, I ran up to 125+ with absolutely no adverse issues. The polished stainless enhances the bike when people actually find them after I point them out. I didn't give them 5 stars because, yes you can hear the beads moving around at slower speeds and I haven't had them long enough to actually know if they'll increase tire life. (they should) But, so far I'd say I'm happy that I bought them, although, my wallet's a bit sore. |

Between these and the Superbrace fork brace the ride is best described as solid as a rock and smooth as silk at the same time. Front fork deceleration wobble is gone and cornering, even at lower speeds, is like being on a rail. I added the brace a few hundrer miles ago and it helped with the wobble, but with this it is gone completely and there is a difficult to describe difference in the ride. It was also and easy DIY install, without even the need to pull the front tire completely "out" of the forks/calipers (which would mean a lot more disassemble), just pull the axel and pinch bolts and rotate the tire as you go to get at everything. Rear also went on without pulling the tire out from under the bike. |

I've had mine for a number of months now, and think they work fine especially that I don't see any tire cupping or wear pattern. Also very smooth riding. However, I had a recient opportunity to run the bike up to 125 MPH and it began to vibrate pretty significantly and didn't go away going faster. Fork moving, or tire balance problem? I was surprised thinking the Centramatic Wheel Balancers would keep it smooth. |

Had to toss in a response to BBStacker as one has to keep in mind that I NEVER stated the product didn't work, only the fact that one has to balance product with options to cost. If we could rate the product on quality vs cost then the numbers would stack up differently. We don't have this option so my rating is applied based on the over all. Claims about tires lasting longer makes total sense as the tires are being balance with every start of rotation. The product works by applying centrifugal force through a series of weights (beads) applied. The rotation and "out of balance" condition causes the beads to find there place until a balance is obtained. The process is simple the price is not. |
