Great stuff
I purchased this bearing kit as part of my suspension upgrade. My Gold Wing tracks true at high and low speeds. It's a big plus. No more Kentucky windage on a 900+ pound motorcycle. |

Great Upgrade
Installed these a few weeks ago. Not a walk in the park but not hard either. Took about 2 1/2 hours to do them. Went for a ride and it didn't even feel like the same bike. Bars were calm and it felt like I had added power steering. Great product. |

I replaced the original steering stem bearings with these new All Balls bearing kit. I was shocked to see what the factory bearing were like. Already they were rattling and sloppy in the bike. Shame on Honda, for using such cheap bearings on such a high end machine as the GL1800 Gold Wing. As a tool and die maker I have seen and replace my share of bearing in my life and I really like the high quality bearings used in this kit. |

Wobble started at 20,000 miles, after fighting with Honda over warramty coverage, I forked out the money to have these installed. Well worth the money took the wobble away I am a happy chappy! time will tell life expectancy of these bearings but I have time. |

The infamous decel wobble started at about 10k on my '08 GL. Changed the tires (E-3's) and it got worse. At about 20k, I installed All Balls and Progressive springs in the front. Even with the then worn and cupped cuppped E-3's, the wobble was no more! I don't know if it was the All Balls or the Progressive springs that stopped the wobble, but I can say that the combo works. Now have 45k miles on big girl, and she still doesn't wobble. |

I have had a low speed/deceleration wobble in the front of my 2006 GL1800 since I got it. Have had several sets of tires on it and they seem to help some but the wobble is still there. Put the new bearings in and a new set of Elite 3s. No wobble at all! Will wait for the tires to wear down and see if any wobble comes back. So far this looks great and the stearing feels "lighter". Sweet! |

No Goldwing should ever leave a dealership with OEM steering bearings. In fact, Honda should wake up, smell the coffee, and recognize that the Goldwing is a different machine with AllBalls. Maybe an inexperienced rider won't notice the difference, but why continue to use a product that is so obviously inferior? My front end started to shake at 40 mph after 7,000 miles. New tires and more torque on the OEM steering bearing helped some, then I had the AllBalls installed. It is a different, and WAY better, bike. If you haven't gone with AllBalls yet, now is a good time. No Goldwing should be without this product. |

No question that these bearings eliminate the GA1800 wabble. No question. I had the installation done at my Honda Dealer in Georgia; be aware, that the bearings will need to be re-tourqed once they become seated properly. I was on the road when I learned this lesson, so it cost me an additional $119. However, there is an awesome BBQ restaurant right next door to the San Antonio, Tx Suzuki Dealer where I had the work done. Great service from both, it turned into an event. |

With 22k miles on the ODO i figured it was time to attend to this beast so i can return to the Tail of the Dragon and do it justice. Before I changed the bearings I raised the from wheel and was able to move it 1/8 inch front to back...all due to worn bearings. After changing the bearings snugging with 27 ft-lbs torque all the slop is gone. Steering is firm and precise now. Thanks all balls. |

These work. Bottom line just look at contact patch area between roller bearing & ball bearings. On my 06 the bottom race had a piece of metal under it, so original bearing was never "square" to steering head. |

I installed these myself following Honda Service Manual instructions. This job takes some time but the results are well worth it. Wobble is gone. This product exceeded my expectations. Hint: The wing forums are helpful with special tool workarounds. |
