| I lubed mine with spit and pulled carfuly with needle nose. I took a razor and shaved a little off the top and beveled the side were it was smashing the seal.The remote works fine now. |

| This is a great backrest.It sat for a few months until I talked to another rider told me how well he liked his and wasn't hard to install. So I got the nerve to cut the hole in my seat and He was right the install went easy and I have loved it since my first long ride with it on. It looks like a factory part. |
