Kinda bummed. |
Bought this for my recently acquired 2009 Goldwing. Simple hookup...just remove the seat and drill a little hole in the rear top trunk. Plug and play! I didn't really purchase it for anything except the Bluetooth functionality, so I can't speak to the rest. But the Bluetooth works great. It allows you to use the handlebar controls to change the volume and track forward/back when streaming from your phone. Probably one of the biggest thing I like (over the cheaper Bluetooth adapters available online) is that it powers up and syncs also soon as you turn on the key and you don't have to sync it each time you start up the bike. |
A bit of a pain but I did not have to remove the entire front plastic. Just removed the two bolts and 5 clips along with the mirror and I had enough room to maneuver to drill the hole and reach in and get the supplied connector. Really great walking into the darkened garage and the bike lights up for me. Got to be the cheapest add to the new bike. |
Great product works well |
When I travel I need a place to carry bike cover and rain clothes without filling up my trunk and bags. This does that perfectly. Fits my Goldwing 1500 trunk rack exactly. And it folds down to a small flat piece when not in use. Rain cover included. |
I added these to my 2024 Bagger at the same time I added the Power distribution block and the tail light flash modulator. I really like the way they light up the back of the bike and when they flash I know they bring the attention to fact that I am breaking, which I what I truly wanted. I'm coming off of a Conours which had a lout aftermaket pipe on it so I didn't need any extra attention, but now that I'm on the GW and it's quiet I need people around me to pay attention. I am happy with how the install turned out, Another great addition |
I installed this Tail Light Flash module in my 2024 Bagger. I installed it at the same time I installed my power distribution block and it took me a couple of tried but I got the result I wanted. If you are installing this alone then it's easy peasy. However, if you are using a wiring harness or in my case a PDB be aware of what you want to achieve. If you install this first then your PDB it will make everything that's plugged into the PDB work off of the flash module(this is what I wanted). If you plug your PDB in first and then the flat module then it will only make your tail lights flash. Ask me how I know. LOL. Either way Glad I did it ! |
I added this distribution block to my bike. Right now I don't have no where near as many lights as this block provides ports but this gave me the clean look I wanted as opposed to those wiring harnesses. I'm glad I went this route |
I am not an employee of Helibars. I have no association with them at all. You must know this, because I am going to rave about them. Yes, they are very expensive, yes they take time to put on (my Wing is a 2012 model). These are not something you think "I wonder" about, let me say just this: if you have a Gen 1 or Gen 2 Goldwing YOU MUST PUT THESE ON YOUR BIKE! You will not BELIEVE what a difference they make. Not only does that disconcerting flex and rubbery feeling of the standard bars go, you will now have the PERFECT riding position. I thought the Wing was comfortable before...it has now stepped up to a new level. I now get full benefit from the rider's backrest which I never got before, and the bar position is ab..so...lutely perfect. Believe me, in 50 years of riding bikes, it is very rare for me to find a "must have" mod or aftermarket item, but for the Goldwing, Helibars are it. Forget the price: you will NOT regret putting them on! |
Bought this to mount the Ciro Big Ass Drink Holder. Now looking at another to use for a passenger phone mount. |
Easy install, texture matches seat leather plus a built in mount for a cup holder. Glad I bought these as they are the same great quality as other Ciro products I've used. |
I have used this cup holder on my bikes for at least 8 years. They are great!! Will hold a 20 ounce drink battle up to my 30 ounce aluminum insulated tumbler. I now have them on my new to me Goldwing. |
