I really like the way that you can remove the drop hitch and replace the reflector when not in use. The recevier is well bolted on and it pulls my eight foot cyclecamp trailer very nice and it feels very sucure while in tow! |
Thes are very comfortable. They make a long ride seem like an afternoon cruse!!! |
This spoiler is area nice touch and its easy to install. It also adds alot of extra light for safety when you apply the brake!! |
I like this item because it gives me a ready-access weatherproof place to store my digital camera. I feel safer putting it here where I can get it out quickly as opposed to my pocket where it could easily fall out without me noticing. And since I always wear gloves, my tactile feel isn't all that great so if I was prying the camera from my pocket it could easily slip out and break. Anything you put in this pouch is right there in front of you while riding and you can see everything as it goes in and comes out. A little small for sun glasses though. Easily attaches to gas lid via velco straps and doesn't seem to interfere while gassing up. Very Satisfied. Wow, i get to be the first reviewer of something! |
These armrests are great if you want to keep the stock look of the bike. They do take a couple of hours to install, but are well worth it. |
The floorboards are very functional, and the SO loves them. They should be supplied with a stonger spring to hold the boards in the folded position. Overall a very good product. |
What can I say -- its a CB (30 year old technology). I approached this purchase as a "tax" on the purchase price of the bike so I wouldn't have switches on my new ride that didn't do anything. An integrated FRS radio would make more sense in todays world but it is a nice insurance policy if you are in need of help or need a bear report for the stretch of road up ahead. If somebody told me a year ago I would be spending close to a grand (including install) for a CB radio, I would of punched them in the face! It works and does all it should. Antenna folds like the radio one does (matched). Built by Clarion. The black box portion lays in the trunk which may interfere with any mats you install there. Dealer installed. Somewhat satisfied (average). |
Wifey luvs'em. I got them to make sure she doesnt fall out when she falls asleep. Gives her a place for her coffee too (hides underneath when not used). Only bad things are you have to get in the habbit of swinging them outwards everytime you need to open the trunk all the way and the surface angle is off a few degrees from the plane of the stock armrests. I wouldnt put all my body weight on these either. They will bend/break. Otherwise, pretty solid. Very satisfied. Dealer installed. |
I love it (keeps you in place when you nail it, hehe). But the wife complains about her legs rubbing the exposed bars (hence 4-stars). Also tends to rub corners of seat when moving forward. Does have a small zipped storage pouch on back side for wifeys necessities. Has 3 course position settings. I use the rear most setting (as shown in pic at above). All in all it looks good and feels great. Mine was dealer installed. |
The nicest looking one out there! Solid metal construction (not thin-walled tube steel). Rubber patch is a nice touch too. Only had it a couple of months but am very satisfied so far. Doubles as a trunk handle. Very solid. Tends to be a fingerprint magnet though. Wish I had gotten the riser kit too. If you add it later I hear you have to re-drill 2 of the holes because the spacing is spread out some. Bummer. The Kury matching trunk rack bag is a must with this item. Mine was dealer installed. |
I put these on at the same time I upgraded my pegs. They will add about 3 lbs. to the bike. The originals are made of thin hollow cast aluminum (I've heard of some breaking). These are solid 1/2" chrome-plated steel. They aren't going anywhere. They look nice with a set of chrome pegs. I suggest getting the chrome break pedal too or it will stick out like a sore thumb. |
Very nice and heavy-duty. They weigh over a pound a piece. The originals are like paper in comparison. Be sure to examine how the spring is supposed to go before removing old pegs (original spring & pin are reused). I opted for these instead of the full-sized boards and really like them. I bought the matching hiway pegs and chrome mounts for the "complete" look. I have not had any lost or loose rubber pads yet. I am very pleased with these. |
