Adds a little color to the nose. Easy install. |
I have a used 2002 Gold Wing that I bought in 2004 with 15,000 miles on it. It came with Dunlops. I don't know if they were the second set or not. However, in 2006 with 25,000 miles on the bike I changed to Metzlers. I now have over 44,000 miles but my rear tire is going low on tread and is cupping. I use 40PSI in the front and 42 PSI in he rear. But almost 20,000 miles on Metzlers tells me about the quality of the tires. BTW I travel to and from work 208 miles round trip. Metzlers are definitely my choice. |
Looks great with the chrome cowl cover, Easy Install |
Looks great and easy to install |
These were a gift from my son ( I couldn't believe that he paid this much for them) They are a nice and practical addition with much need light in the right place. My only concern is that the bulbs are not removable. I hope they last. |
A great addition to the bike. Since I never carry a passenger, they are always in view. The "chrome god" strikes again! |
honda should give you one with every new bike! Perfect fit, no scratching of the precious bike. I have one of these on every remote I own. |
I saved the money by purchasing the CB here on Wingstuff. The install was going just fineā¦. Until the tweeters!! I could not for the life of me figure out how to disconnect the wires from the back of the tweeters without breaking anything. I was into the install now for about 2hrs and becoming extremely frustrated. Away went the tools for the night and first thing in the morning I reinstalled the seat, connected the battery and put the license plate body piece back on the wing and the wing went to the dealer. Took the dealer 45min to complete the installation. All in all I still came out ahead with the savings from WingStuff. The plug and play install is not that easy!! Buy it here and take it to the dealer. Unit works pefect and as expected |
There is fine detail in the map engraving. However, I must agree with the previous review; I thought the stones would be shaped like the states. The stones are extremely small; nonetheless, they are still too large for some smaller states. I was also under the impression the "stick on" stones would be self stick, which they are not. Be prepared with some super glue and a pair of tweezers. I am thinking about buying some colored sharpies and trying to color in the states rather than using the stones. |
I left an earlier review and said it was a great cover. A dust cover yes, as for rain and keeping the bike dry, won't do it. My seats have been filled with water a few times now. And when my antenna was down to put the cover on it snagged and ripped the cover. Still usable for garage storage of bike. |
This is without a doubt the best addition I have done to my GL1800. By far this Utpoia backrest should have been the first add-on to my wing. Most importantly, Wingstuff.com service technician, DAVE, is the best. The backrest was professionally put on and it looks like a factory install! I noticed the comfort I was missing the moment I drove my bike out of service. This is a must for every cruiser. Thanks again wingstuff.com staff for all your wonderful and friendly service. Sonny. |
