Pegs are strong, not too bad to put together either. Only complaint I have and it really isn't the pegs, my legs rub too close to the fairing on my wing. Still, it provides a nice change of leg position on those longer trips. |
I wouldn't waste your money like I did... |
I ordered these and installed them on my 95 Goldwing. They were easy to install and really look great. Wingstuff did a price match on them as well. I can recommend these. Sorry, I don't have a picture yet. |
Clutch lever works fine. Brake lever does not release the switch unless I push out towards the front of the bike. These fit very well on my 06 PA, is there a difference on the 08 ABS brake switch? Tried all 5 positions and it still needs a push back to work. The add-on ones were useless as both the clutch and brake ones did not work. Very disappointed in both these products. |
These add that finish look to the side Kuryakyn Frame Cover. Wife likes the added comfort. easy install. |
These add that finish look to the side matched with the Kuryakyn Frame Cover. Easy install great looks |
Added a nice touch to match the other side covers. easy to install. great looks. |
I had no problem with the installation on my 08 Wing, the instructions were a bit off though. The power plug from the motorcycle is on the right side of the bike, the instructions for the cb showed it on the left, no biggie!! The trunk need not be removed, drilling the hole with a 1" blade bit was a breeze. The front shelter could have been left on too, just loosened enough to make the connections. The rest of the wiring was a snap. I have not been on the road yet but with my wife in the front yard on a hand held unit and me down the street on the Wing, I got about a half mile away before losing the signal. |
Bought one for each side. Almost look factory installed. Lights are not too bright either. |
Not the easiest of installs. The hole for the vent is not cut for an easy fit, I actually lost one of the rubber grommets trying to fight to get the vent in. The hight of the vent is too high also. I'm 6 ft tall and with this shield all the way up it was in the worst line of sight possible, and my rider said the wind on her was worse. So I lowered it to the bottom and up 2 clicks and she says it pretty good now, but now it's worse than ever on me. As stated by others, it really buffets alot at highway speeds. I do like the concept they were trying to accomplish as the curved edges do help the passenger, but I would suggest they go back to the drawing board. I will be buying a different windshield. |
I agree with the rest. Great product. I can say this now that my sphincter is back to normal size after cutting my seat. Don't forget to view the Steve Saunders install video, it makes it easier to watch someone else cut their seat first. :-) |
This thing is huge, but works well. I got the big one and I'm glad. I do wish I had the option to buy the smaller cup and claw without the rest of the bracket so I could choose my preferred cup size. 34oz is great for cold stuff, But I would like the option to use the 20oz for something like coffee. It's no deal breaker though. Good product, well made. |
