"Well I had been a little unsure of the comfort of these. But I have to say after riding through in heat for half of my ride i decided to try them. and yep they work. Keep you cool and dry !" I know exactly what you mean the air just flows right trough and, cools your butt off! No more sticky sweaty behind for this rider. |
Good looking addition, like them without the eagles or teardrops I've seen on other bikes. |
I read all of the reviews on this product and almost let the dealer install it, but when i opened the box and read the instructions I did it myself. Extremly straightforward, and like others stated it took me longer to remove the backing than anything else. What helped me was to place the belly pan on top of the bubble wrap on a flat surface and woth one hand hold the belly pan and the other take your finger and slide it against the film backing , not trying to pick it but more to use friction to remove it. It took me 8-10 minutes but everything came out perfectly. |
I am pretty upset with my Wingstuff family..... There is absolutely no reason why you didn't tell me to get this exhaust FIRST!! I love it. It took me a while to figure out why my left side exhasut would not slide into the heat shield tabs, but when I looked the slot was slightly bent, after i bent it it slid right in!! They look awesome and sound great. I wish I would have bought these long ago! I am happy because I keep my low sound signature but have a nice throaty growl when I accelerate. For me it's the best of both worlds!! |
A very nice and easy to mount. But you will need a shop to wire it up. |
Don't know how you can get 40,000+ kms out of any tyre on a bike unless it's on a trailer, I've got 15,500 miles (24,800 Kms) out of my front bridgestone and a lot of that is toll roads. Best I've ever had, usually 3,500 miles out of a rear and roughly twice as much of a front. Does anyone out there get a wobble from the bars when you take your hands off at low speeds? I do and don't know whether it's a goldwing thing or just a tyre thing. |
Nice product. Happy not to have chrome quality problem. Risers are a must if you have a trunk spoiler. As with my previous Wing, I don't understand why Kury say to have two of the four holes through trunk top and trunk undercover. All my four screws are through the outer cover only, and seems slightly applying on the undercover. And that is in accordance with the instructions for the risers. |
Fitment is not so good. Test the best fitment before you glue it on the bike: you will not have a second chance to do it right. Very important: carefully clean the lights before installing the grills. |
I keep my Wing in the garage and needed only to keep the dust off of it and minimize chances of scratches. It is well made and fits very well. As others have mentioned, it is just for dust. Considering the low price, it does what I want it to do. |
I highly recommend this hitch. It is light in weight and very strong. I think it is the best. Installed in less than three hours. |
Looks great after a year. Has also protected the lower cowl and timing cover from road debris. |
Installed cowl May 08 with timing cover KU3909 and they still look good. Install easy, fit like a glove. |
