| I am always a little concerned when spending hundreds of dollars for one item for my bike but after riding the bike from my dealership's service dept., I was totally blown away on how awesome the HeliBars made the front end of my 2016 Gold Wing light as air! One of the things I always appreciated about my former ride (2009 HD Road Glide) was how easy the handling was. Well, thank God I traded up to a 2016 GW and put this accessory on my bars. I cannot tell you enough how much I love the way my bike handles now. In other words: WORTH EVERY PENNY! | It’s well made and it’s been on for A 1200 mile trip. It’s too big for my rack, and you have to be careful not to put too much in it. It was good in that I transferred from my side cases to the bag when I got to my destination. One bag for the room and I had my saddle bags clear for getting stuff around town. It staid secured pretty well. |
| I bought this for the passenger. I have one for me and liked it so much I got one for the passenger. It was missing some mounting hardware when it arrived, but after an email, the parts are being shipped to me. Minor inconvenience for the ability to have it. |
| These bags are solidly made. I have 2 for the size bags and one for the trunk. They fit perfectly and still allow room for my helmets in the trunk because they are not built bulky. |
| The perfect thing to dress up your bags and trunk. The fit was almost perfect for my 2000 1500. Minor trimming with scissors and that was it. Also a great way to protect items placed inside while riding. Well worth the money. |
| This is the third Backoff, I have installed over the years. I actually bought the wrong one this time. But it is the same as the other two. I wanted the Wig Wag model. The instructions are for the simple bikes with a single run/stop light. So, you have to do your best to adapt to the Goldwing. My problem is I only wanted the two center stop lights to flash on the trunk and my Goldwing has 4 in the trunk and two, one each for the saddlebags. So trying to isolate the trunk wires from the bundles under the trunk took some doing. But, I got it done and am using the quick flash then steady mode.I do believe the system works because vehicles don't just rush up behind as I am stopping. I wish my son had this on his bike when we rode through Atlanta one summer on a long trip. A lady hit him from behind pushing him into the trailer I was pulling. No damage was done but it could have been a disaster since it was like a 12 lane freeway. |
| Love the way they look on my 1997 Goldwing Trike. Really easy to install and makes a big difference. |
| The fit is perfect. Very bright lights booth in signaling, running and turning. The strobe is a great feature. I will be adding strobes on all brake lights soon. |
