I'm a 28 year old male who rides a 2014 GL1800, and I like to ride it as what it is, a sportbike in cruiser clothes. I did a lot of research before buying my suspension upgrade parts and debated on whether I should just buy a 2018+ Goldwing, but I can't stand how much storage they took away and the small 4" speakers they used. I weigh in at 185lbs 5'10 and my passenger is around 170lbs. I definitely had some harsh bumps and bottomed out on the stock suspension and settled in the preload at around 8 single and 15 two-up. I also had the bar-shake around 40mph.I went all in and over the course of 5 weeknights in my garage I did the full suspension upgrade with the Progressive Monotubes up front, the Progressive spring on the rear, the TRAXXION Dynamics braided preload adjuster line, and the TRAXXION Dynamics TRAXX-RITE Billet Triple Clamps which had the ALL BALLS Bearings pre-installed. The progressive suspension is a huge upgrade. I don't feel like things are "more bumpy" I feel like the suspension is actually working now instead of being a pillow with a rock underneath (due to stock suspension being so soft and easily bottoming out). The bike sits higher and I no longer have to adjust my parking position to be confident the bike won't tip over, it now leans over sufficiently to be well planted on the kick-stand. The monotubes in conjunction with the progressive rear spring have dramatically changed the handling of the bike, i'm no longer going slow over bumps or worrying about railroad tracks. Preload can now sit comfortably at 0-2 with just me depending on how aggressive i'm riding. While I did not have trouble scraping pegs previously, i'm still getting used to the new lean angle capability with the additional ride-height presented due to the Wing not crushing the suspension under its own weight and I have not scraped pegs yet.The TRAXX-RITE Triple clamps were a great addition and I got them mainly because they came with the bearings pre-installed and I only had to worry about installing the bearing races and not pressing the bearings onto the triple tree stem. They make a notable change that I think warrants the price for both in eliminating bar wobble at 40mph and in making turns and carving smooth as butter, it really is noticable vs. the stock ball bearings.

WTF? A $72 cupholder? I thought I bought a Goldwing and not a Harley Davidson. It seemed insane to me, because I definitely evaluate all available products and places to order products before making a purchase looking for the best deal and I just struggled to wrap my head around this one. But I gave in, I ordered it. It arrived, and did so in a nice big box labeled BIG ASS DRINK HOLDER, which it is. It is a plastic rim and not metal, but it appears to have a high quality chrome finish and it does not feel chintzy at all. The material feels very nice as well with the thick flexible rubber that holds various size drinks from 12oz cans to paper cups and on up with no issues and securely enough that i'm confident taking off with whatever drink I put in there (so long as its not too full). The mount is very nice and secure and i'm happy I can move it to a 2018+ Goldwing if/when I choose to upgrade. Most importantly, it is a BIG ASS DRINK HOLDER. I'm talking fifth of liquor no problem, my friends joked I should put a fifth of vodka filled with water in there and take drinks while at stop lights. 30 OZ. Yeti Mug, NO PROBLEM. Its large and in charge and i'm happy to have paid Harley Accessory price for this thing. If you need a big drink holder, this is the one. I don't think you can reasonably get a larger cup holder on a bike, you're SOL if you want a gallon of water or a large gatorade bottle but this should do anything else including your Route77 big cup.

Everything is fine about the quality, but. I'm 5' 7" and it hits a little tall on my back and there is no way to modify it down past the adjustments.

I am always a little concerned when spending hundreds of dollars for one item for my bike but after riding the bike from my dealership's service dept., I was totally blown away on how awesome the HeliBars made the front end of my 2016 Gold Wing light as air! One of the things I always appreciated about my former ride (2009 HD Road Glide) was how easy the handling was. Well, thank God I traded up to a 2016 GW and put this accessory on my bars. I cannot tell you enough how much I love the way my bike handles now. In other words: WORTH EVERY PENNY! Next week I'm heading to Lake George, NY and I will be going the longest route possible as life's too short to waste NOT riding my Gold Wing. GET THESE BARS!! Thanks for reading.

It’s well made and it’s been on for A 1200 mile trip. It’s too big for my rack, and you have to be careful not to put too much in it. It was good in that I transferred from my side cases to the bag when I got to my destination. One bag for the room and I had my saddle bags clear for getting stuff around town. It staid secured pretty well.

I bought this for the passenger. I have one for me and liked it so much I got one for the passenger. It was missing some mounting hardware when it arrived, but after an email, the parts are being shipped to me. Minor inconvenience for the ability to have it.

These bags are solidly made. I have 2 for the size bags and one for the trunk. They fit perfectly and still allow room for my helmets in the trunk because they are not built bulky.

The perfect thing to dress up your bags and trunk. The fit was almost perfect for my 2000 1500. Minor trimming with scissors and that was it. Also a great way to protect items placed inside while riding. Well worth the money.
