I ordered 2 sets for low and high beams. These are very well made and look as though they are made for the Wing. As others have said, low beams are very easy. High beams are accessed by removing left and right compartments. The right high beam gave me a fit, but persistence pays off here. One thing to look out for is make sure the ballast and wiring from low beams are tucked and tie wrapped out of the way as to not impede full lock to lock motion of the forks and handle bars. Not a lot of room in there. The only downside is now my stock fog lights look like a candle light on each side of my cowl because these are so white. Those will be next.
Fit perfectly. Not quite as easy to install as I expected, and the included instructions leave a lot to be desired. After several trips to YouTube to get info on disassembling the dash and wire connectors on my '08 Goldwing, I finally got them installed. Took the bike out for 50 mile ride, and I did notice a difference in shoulder / arm comfort. I would recommend these to anyone who gets shoulder or arm pain after a long ride. The only reason for 4 stars was the install instructions.
A driveway tip-over unsurprisingly bent (then snapped off while trying to bend back) an opened peg. Fold these pegs up when not in use! However, I was surprised neither Wingstuff or Rivco could effectively support the premium-priced product. After almost nine months of follow-up with Rivco, I just received the replacement pegs (they could not sell just one.)34" inseam and pegs set fully forward. Calves pressing on cowlings lead my feet to naturally rest outside the checkered pad and on the pointed end. Not a big compromise if looking to avoid the crash bar mounted style. Nifty product, but disappointed with product support.
Product has always been good and fits great. I've had great service from wingstuff and shipping has been quick to deliver usually the next week plus a weekend.
I now have now bought my first pair of Dunlop Elite 3 tires. I have to say, I’m a Bridgestone guy. I have always had Bridgestone tires on my Goldwings and I’m very happy with these tires. On a whim, I paid the extra $100 bucks for these Dunlop Elite 3 tires. I hope they’re worth it and I get a lot more mileage with these tires. You can’t beat the price for Bridgestone tires on Wingstuff. Especially if you buy them when there is an additional $60 rebate on these tires that they run about twice a year.So Dunlop, you have a lot to do mileage wise to make me happy. I have 100 miles on these tires so far and they seem okay. But I better get double the mileage on these tires or I’m going back to Bridgestone tires where the price point is much better.I’m only giving them 4 stars at this point because of the price point on these tires.
This is the 2nd purchase for me. After owning for some time I had one fall off during a ride. So I'm ordering to replace the lost protector. Product works. Lining up the Velcro is the hardest part for me. I have had to buy Velcro replacement after some time.
Nice boxers, awesome price!
Easy to install, and looks great!
If you have fog lights...you need to get these. WAY cheaper than replacing a light. I've had a few pairs over the years. When they get pitted and can't be cleaned anymore...I replace them. When I drill the cowl...I measure to leave a little room to get one of those foam paint brushes (on the wooden handle) between the lens and the fog light. That way I can sneak that soapy foam brush in whenever I wash the bike...to keep the back of the lens and the light itself, clean!
These are a great upgrade. If you already have the fog lights, it's an easy install. I added these when I did the LED running lights/turn signals and upgraded my headlights to LED. VERY cool front end with lots of light to keep me safer. However: they are not as bright as I expected. That was a disappointment. Having them adjustable helps with that issue....but my disappointment in the brightness...and for that price?...gets them 4 stars instead of 5.
Always a great fit. Ships wrapped in cellophane for protection. I order one just about every time I order anything from Wingstuff, just to have them on hand. Get a package of crush washers and the oil change tool while yer at it!
If you're thinking of getting a belly pan....do it. Mine have saved me twice. Hit something hard underneath when I was a long way from home....on two different occasions....and these things save your criticals from damage.I've installed 3 belly pans on my 2006 Wing. First one I had was the heavier one. It was more difficult to install (and remove when you deal with coolant changes, etc). This one is my second of the thinner variety and they work just fine and are much easier to work with. The fit is great and everything underneath is protected. And it's less expensive. Do it !
