Fits well. Recently had high winds and cover stayed in place.
I install the grips on my 2020 Goldwing Tour. Was an easy install (good printed instructions). I like the thickness the grips add to the OME grips. The reason for the 4 stars was NOT due to quality or function of the grips. It was due to not being able to still use the OME bar dampeners. As of now I can’t see/feel much difference in operation of motorcycle w/o dampeners. Happy I purchased them
Much easier to install than the Honda OEM part and a lot less expensive. You don't have to remove the center cowl for these.Work great a throw off a lot of light.
I put this on for better coverage which I can say it does provide. But the view thru the screen is distorted and it makes contact with the lower shield. The contact is so bad that the Windscreen now has a grove in it at the contact point. I think whoever made this did not bother to consider that it would ride upon the lower screen. I have removed it and place the stock screen back on until my F4 screen arrives. Great concept but needs refinement. I may hold onto it just for winter riding. But in the summer, this thing comes off!
I previously wrote a review on how easy this product is to install. Now, after about 2 weeks of installation I want bring this caution note to everyone's attention regarding this product. Please be caution of the "Ball Joint Linkage" because mine broke on my way back to Kentucky from St. Louis. Luckily I was only 48 miles from home and on a back road which the speed limit was 55 mph. The ball joint bolt broke in 3rd gear which allowed me to only travel at 50-45 mph without red lining the motorcycle. I plan to write Kuryakyn regarding this caution and send the part back to them so they can come up with a solution on how to make a stronger joint bolt!
The OEM center stand was injuring my lower back so I bought this to prevent further injury. In hindsight, I should have purchased this a long time ago. It absolutely works as advertised! Either with the reverse gear, or from the left side as designed, it is ridiculously easy to place on the Ride Off Center Stand. I now live in a condo without a garage to work on my Goldwing so I hired the local Honda shop. Well worth the $73.56 to have them R&R the center stand!! The 2 cons already mentioned are: 1) cannot rotate the rear tire; and 2) cannot easily un-weight the front tire to easily rotate the steering wheel. However, the instructions describe the work-arounds. On balance, the pros FAR outweigh the cons!! My back is extremely grateful. If you're reading this, stop here and put one on order. You won't regret it.
We have an '89 Trike. We put this on with the zipper in the front, but from other reviews, I guess that must be backwards??? Anyway, it fits around the rear end. The material is not that cheap stuff, it seems pretty durable. We have only used it to cover the trike inside our garage. We have not tried it out in the elements. Yes, I agree with other reviews, we will never get it back in the bag that it came in, but a trike is going to take a lot of material to cover it up. Safe travels!
Easy install if you already have the tip over covers removed...just snap into place. I had been testing the look of highway pegs that clamp to the bars and decided I prefer that look. These complete the look.
I guess I should have known the side cowl lights were not included. Personally, I think the description should plainly say the side lights are not included. To me, they are also cowl lights. After all, they are on the cowl. Anyway, EC needs to get the install instructions on the web page. I am at least the second person who had to contact EC to get the instructions emailed. Install was not hard, just takes time, so don't be in a rush. I installed the reconfiguration harness at the same time. Used Fred's vids to help with the install. I hope the lights add to my daytime visibility as advertised. If not, at least it wasn't a ridiculously expensive farkle.
The install instructions are o.k., but Fred's vid makes it much easier. Wish I would have found his vid before I started my install. Works as advertised and I appreciate the added visibility during daytime with high beams on.
Only reason I bought it was because I was buying other stuff and figured next time I need it, it'll be easier than using a paperclip to short the circuit. Now I'll see how long it'll take to need it. I already used a paper clip to set up a second fob.
These were easy to install and look great. The glue is strong and should stay on. One word of advice, make sure they are lined up perfectly straight because there's no do over when installing them.
