| This the third set I have put on my GL1800 , I have had Dunlaps which are good also, I tried Bridgestone and will never buy again (got only 9700 miles ) the Cobras are good for 17,000- 20,000 depending on how much passenger riding. I just ordered a rear tire this time, I had 1700 miles on them and picked up a nail. Sucks to put on new tires and get a nail, I plugged it for the winter in case I needed to move it but put a new one on for the riding season. |
| Easy install. Grips feel much better than stock. Hands feel more secure with the larger diameter. We'll see about the heating loss for the grips. Hope there will be no slippage. |

| Unbelievable difference driving at night with the driving lights and sequential cowl lights.My next purchase is probably going to be the sequential turn signals to match the cowl light blinking indicators. |
| So far I really like these tires, they grip really well even in the rain. I've had no issues cupping so far but I can't offer up a total on milage as my first set are not worn out yet but I liked them enough to by a second set. |

| This deal was too good to pass up. I have Dunlop Elite 4's on now and they are only a bit more than half worn out at 10K, but most folks seem to like these. The price is like $100 less than the Dunlops per pair, and the $50 rebate made it seem like a no brainer. If they handle as well as the E4's and last for a reasonable amount of miles, I will be happy. |
| I ordered and received the installation kit before ordering the Trunk. Once I received both, I started the install. I had everything installed in accordance with the instructions, but the trunk would not latch. I thought maybe I had done something wrong, so I completely disassembled everything and started over. Same result, the trunk would not latch. I am not a complete novice or I wouldn't have undertaken this task. I thought, maybe the latches aren't long enough, so I tried to elongate the screw holes, no success. I looked at the way the latches were sticking out of the trunk and thought maybe if I reversed them it would work. Yes!!! It worked and the trunk latched. Whoever assembled the kit at the factory had reversed the latches and caused me quite a bit of trouble. The correct way the latches should look, is they should tip away from the trunk, not towards it. Other than that, the whole process is quite easy if you follow the instructions. |
| It gives the bike a finished look. The amount of road grime on the rear of the bike is greatly reduced. It makes me feel like it should have been build with them already there. |
