| light works great and looks great too. When installing it one of the critical items is to use blue splice connectors on 5 wires. The splice connectors are made for trailer wiring and are therefore best used on wire gauges like 16ga found on a normal trailer. But the wiring harnesses you are splicing to on this kit are more like 20 gauge. The splice connectors will still work but you really have to crimp them very hard to get a connection. When I first wired everything up, the only part of the light that was working was the brake light. After a few hours of disassembling to check things I finally flashed on these small gauge wires and I put my pliers to them harder than I had ever squeezed on an electrical connection in my life. After that all but the running lights started working so I took the running light wire back down and squeezed even harder when re-crimping. Now everything works. Nothing wrong with this kit if you know that one little thing. I called Show Chrome in the middle of all this and they were as helpful as possible and quickly offered to send a new unit out so no complaints on them. Just put on your Man Panties and crank on those blues splices harder than you think you should and you'll like the result |
| This light is bright enough to be useful. Expensive but useful. But what you need to know when installing it is that the bike basically has to be back together 100% or it won't work. The light comes on if the trunk (or saddlebags) are open and it stays on for a few minutes. After a few minutes it goes off and it won't come back on unless you close the trunk and open it again. When you want to test it before finishing re-assembly, you will also find that it won't come on at all if the seat and backrest are not plugged in. So you think your trunk light is broken but it's not. Put the bike completely back together or else be creative in having it back together enough to test. Took me HOURS of reassembly, disassembly and reassembly to learn this little quirk. |
| I was excited to have a solution for being ignored early morning at traffic lights. This little magnet did hot improve my luck at all. Maybe 4 or 5 of them strapped to the bike would help. |
| I have a 2023 Touring in black and these look so nice. Install was easy. Only issue I have that I need to at some point look at is the left side doesn't flex all the way up like my right side does. It has to do with the kickstand. I like the position it is mounted in, so that is why I haven't changed it yet. I haven't taken any extreme curves or turns that put me in jeopardy of hitting the floorboard on the road, but I do worry in a left lean or turn I won't have the flex that is needed. Just an observation I wanted to share in case this is something you run into. I recommend installing the left board first to see if you like the position with flex, so you then install it on the right side the same way. I started with the right side and didn't want to have to redo it or have my feet not in the same position on each side. Regardless, I love them and find them to have elevated my comfort greatly. |

| This is a great cup holder for the passenger arm rests. I love it because while I am working in my garage, I can put my drink in it. If I am standing around my bike, I have it as a way to hold any type of drink. I currently prefer the Butler cup for my riding cup holder since it has a handle and very easy to take a sip while riding, so having this passenger one gives me more options when I am not riding to set a can, fast food drink, etc. Gives me the best of both worlds. NOTE: Remember that if you buy the arm rests, they already come with one mount, so you don't need to buy the mount. You only need to buy a mount if you want to have one on both arm rests. |
| I like these, but I wish they were not as skinny as they are. It would be nice if they followed the size of the where they mount. They definitely give the passenger a place to set their arms, but due to the way they are mounted, you have to be careful how much pressure you put on them. For example, you don't want to use them to adjust how you are sitting or use them to help push yourself further back in the seat. They seem like they could break from the mounting location. I still like them and the ability to mount a cup holder, so I would still buy them. Just make sure your passenger knows to be careful and not push down on them to hard. |
| Very nice looking light. Running light wire was loose in the plug from the start. I had to partially take the trunk apart a second time to get to the wiring, Once fixed it has been working fine. Just should've been tested out before shipping to customer. |
| This is honestly just a poor engineered design. The thing will slide. It's only a matter of time. For me, I could not get this to not slide no matter what I tried. According to Wing stuff something has to be unopened to be returnable. Their website also recommends this product that it fits my goldwing. So trusting them that it fits my Gold Wing and it doesn't work worth a damn making it unreturnable makes me not want to do business with this company anymore. |
| Read the reviews prior to buying and saw some people had issues with the poles collapsing. So I called Rivco and spoke to someone about this I issue. He said he hadn't heard about this problem and told him a couple people on this site mentioned collapsed poles or having to use duct tape to secure them. I told him the reviews were 10 years or older and asked if they have improved the locking collar. It sounded l I ke they did so I bought 3 for PGR escorts. Well, right out of the box they collapsed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Going to see if Wingstuff will give me a refund. |
| The fan kit came with no instructions. I found a YouTube video that showed how to install it. Completed the installation over a week ago and have been on a couple rides (4+ hours). The phone still overheats in the cubby, after about 3 hours, and in the heat of the day (around 90 degrees and sunny). The next time that I replace the air filter, I will add some insulation to the outside of the cubby, as I saw Max of Traxxion Dynamics did. |
| I got the tinted stock height but wider windshield. Works great! Less wind for me and my passenger. It can actually be cleaned with paper towels and cleaner without scratching. Lots of positive comments about the look. |
