REALLY EASY TO PUT ON ADDS DAZZEL TO THE SIDE WHEN IN THE FOLDED UP POSITION... HEY MORE CHROME WHATB CAN I SAY! |
GREAT QUALITY, SUPER PRICE, INSTALATION IS NOT TOO TOUGH EVEN FOR ME. BEING INSEAM IMPAIRED(SHORT LEGS) THESE REALLY HELP FOR LONG TRIPS TO PROVIDE A CHANGE IN FOOT POSITION... THE FULL FOOT REST IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE BALANCING ACT YOU HAVE TO DO WITH PEGS! AND THE EXTRA LIGHT ADD STYLE TO THE BIKE. |
Nice addition to the rear. WOW, drill holes in my trunk. Scared to do this but with the supplied templates...it was a breeze. |
Try this one upside down. When used with the Honda line trunk handle, it gives more room to open the trunk. Makes it look just a little different too. |
just like the other reviewers said....instructions suck, but still didn't take two hours to install....save the money and run with it !! if i can do it, you can !! |
A great addition, very bright. Tie them into your turn signals and you really have an attention getter. |
With the blade extended your foot has too much leverage and can easily rotate the peg out of position. I vote no. |
Probably the single best piece of chrome you can add to your bike. Easy to install too. |
Looks very good and is easy to install. |
Not worth it. Get the one that velcros on. |
This is a must have for the GL1800. It looks to plain without it. |
I purchased this shifter for a 2006 GL1800. It installed without any significant difficulty except for a strange little rubber plug that the instructions had you push in with an appropriate allen wrench. No matter what size I chose it would not seat and would come out with the wrench even the very small ones. The shifter looks nice and there are no cosmetic issues. IT PREVENTS REMOVAL OF THE LEFT ENGINE COVER. In order to remove the cover cleanly you have to remove the shifter. |
