We don't go on any ride without these. We have the 34 oz. Well worth the money and very well insulated. The only way to travel!! |
looks great easy install |
bought these a while back, easy install and lasting very well! |
I've used several of the different tires discribed by others, and ended up with the Metzler brand. I push my 1800 Wing as far as any one. My nephews say I'm a wild man, and they don't even try, well they try, but can't keep up with their Uncle! A good part of that is the magnificant machine I ride, but what it all comes down to, is what's between you and the road. I get superb handling, maximun wear and dependability from these tires, and when I need a new set, they will be Metzlers! John C Thomas |
These lights not only look great, they make your bike a lot easier to see at night. They are a big improvement over the stock reflectors. |
In my opinion, these are the best tires made at this time for the 1800. The original Dunlops had bad front end wobble after a few thousand miles. 2nd set, I tried the Avons. What a joke. Good control at first but they lasted only 7,000 miles and had very bad front end wobble after 5,000 miles. I decided to try Metzeler for the 3rd set since they were awesome on my 00 GL1500 wing. They lasted over 17,000 miles and still had some tread. They were awesome. Smooth, great control, grip and NO wobble the whole time. I went to WingDing in Nashville this year (06). There was only one place selling and installing tires. They sold only Dunlop and against my better judgment, I went ahead and had them put on since we were leaving for a long trip to the west coast a week later. Yes, that |
I wasn't too sure how the metal parts of the grip would feel, but after 16K miles on the road I can say these are the best grips I have ever used....Bar None. I also installed the throttle rocker and the colored rings. I love the rocker, it's great when you're not using the cruise control. |
Super addition to the bike. I chose this back rest because there are no bars to get in the way of rider or passenger, and I am very happy that I did. Fairly easy to install once you come to grips with taking a knife to the seat! Really not that big of a deal. Looks great when installed! Very happy with it! Highly recommended! Take some time with the instructions so you understand what's involved BEFORE you begin. Measure twice, cut once! TIP: After cutting the first hole in the leather use an old knife to go after the foam. Heat the blade with a torch before digging into the seat foam and the blade goes through the foam like it was soft butter! The knife will be discolored from the heat when you're done so use an old one! |
Have a 07 Wing - these really dress up the front wheel & great price. Easy to install. |
You need these to stretch your legs out once in a while, and you must mount them as pictured, no lower or they will be scraping. I also tried to mount them higher but it was uncomfortable position for legs. Two years so far and the chrome looks good-do keep them cleaned and waxed. Even in the up position- agressive leaning has put some scares on them, but thats life. Better to have them than not. |
The install is easy, you just have to get up the nerve to start drilling the trunk lid. The LED spoiler fits under the rack. I would mount the spoiler first, if you are planing on getting both.I have not had any problem with rust, I keep it clean and well waxed. |
Excellent product, looks great, expensive but so is everything for GW's. |
