I was a little worried about installing myself...but after reading direction and with help of another website: https://www.goldwingfacts.com/index.html It was a piece of cake...it looks good, but most of all feels great..should of done this long ago... |
| I used www.goldwingfacts.com for extra pointers on this install, but I have a 07 so you won’t have to remove the speaker grills. You really don’t need to remove the trunk IF you have a Dremel Tool to make that 28 mm hole in the trunk. I used zip lock bags to put my hardware in and also labeled each bag so I would know where each bolt came from when it came time to reassembly. A digital camera comes in handy for referring to how the wires were routed prior to putting it all back together. The CB works great. Don’t forget to disconnect your battery first and reconnect it last. A lot of the bike does have to come apart but it comes apart in big pieces so it’s not as bad as it really looks. I’m a seasoned mechanic and it took me about 4-5 hours to install antenna and the CB. Can’t beat the prices at wingstuff.com! |

| First add on to the Wing had the dealer install. My opinion they should be installed as stock. Provide great visibility and make much more visable. |
| Love the look and protection the nose cover provides. Easy to install, however, not pleased with the unevenness, the left side contours and fits tight with the fearing and its openings, the right side not so contoured. Took the first one back for an exchange, the second fits a little better same problem right versus left. |
| Very impressed with the quality of the unit. I installed into open face helmets and the clarity of the sound from the satellite radio, Ipod, CD, stereo and the communication between me and my passenger is awesome. Why, why pay more???? |
| Just like the lower units these are great! The installation is extremely easy. It only takes about 10 minutes and you are ready to ride. |
| This is truely a great product. I could not believe the noise reduction after this installation. You can actually hear each other talk without the constant wind noise in the mics. The instructions are very good and they are easy to install. This is a project that requires you to take your time for a neat installation. I will not ride a wing without these! |
