Didn't buy this from Wingstuff but wish I had. I hadn't discovered Wingstuff yet and paid too much at a dealer. Very nice addition for the passenger. Installed very easily. Instructions caution against using it as a support during mounting and dismounting the bike but it is very sturdy. I haven't installed the left one yet as I am waiting for a CB and antenna. |
Didn't buy this from Wingstuff but wish I had (cheaper than the dealer). This is a excellent item to add to your bike if you plan any long distance riding. It was the first thing I added to my bike and love it. It installed pretty easily. Very nice!! |
Looks great. Not bad to put on after you get over the fear of drilling holes in a perfectly good trunk lid.Color match is perfect on my 06 dark red. |
Looks great and easy to install |
Wish I had this last Year during Sturgis! |
I have both the saddlebag and trunk chromed lighted molding. At rest, nice CHROME. At play, nice red LED lighting on CHROME! The trunk molding doubles as extra brake lighting, when your brakes are applied. Cage drivers have really noticed, and let me know how nice that difference was. ~*~Beauty and safety combined.~*~ |
These look great, they really fill out the look of the front end. I'm not a great fan of chrome (why polish when you could be riding) but these look so good, I went for them anyway. These are chromed plastic, as opposed to the Hondaline which is chromed metal. I asked WingStuff what the difference was, they actually preferred the plastic as its lighter, and the chrome should last just as well. Less unsprung weight is always a good thing, so went with these. Overall they fit properly (one hole was a bit off, made it a little tough to get the screw started, but okay after that). Simple installation but pay attention to what screws go where! I didn't, and it took me a lot longer than 20 minutes a side. All in all, they give the front end a strong, finished look. Definitely 5 stars. |
Very easy to install. Even has new screws to replace the plain black stock onnes. Really looks nice!!!! |
Great product. As I didn't want to go from trunk lid to trunk light, I connected it to the switched +12v of the latch command module in the lid. The only drawback is that position light of the spoiler remains ON when the key is on the aux position; but with leds, it's not an issue (some more mA drawn). |
Very usefull if you mount your GPS on the left handlebar: you can route the audio cable the same safe way than the other cables comming from the handlebar switches and go the the audio input under the left pocket. |
THE BEST backrest on the market! No bars in the passenger legs area, easy angle adjusting (even when riding), easy saddle removal, etc... And easy to install if you follow the notice word after word; and more: a video is disponible on the website of the manufacturer. |
They fit and work as advertised. I'm not small, but with the pullback, I can now lay back in the backrest and keep arms relax. The rise put the grip the same high as the middle of the mirrors, which is good for wind protection. A little more difficult than the notice says to get the added lenght of cables needed for the pullback. Cutting correctly the plastic cover is also a issue. Screws are now of very good quality. |
