I not long ago replaced my original shield with this one and so far I am pretty satisfied. I live in S. Ca. so it gets hot and I am not sure it flows quite as much air through the vent as stock. When we hit triple digits I will see. Sally really likes it as she says she gets much less buffeting now. If mama is happy, everyone is happy. |
I put these on and realized that they were what the bike was missing for the last 2 1/2 years. There really complete the back of the bike and look awesome. Not many folks have them yet so you tend to stand out and be noticed quite a bit. I have to thank Rick for allowing me to take the set he had set aside for his bike. Rick's customer service and empathy for his customers are more important to me than his prices, which are the best you can find. |
This is not only a nice touch but it adds more safety also. Igot the side head led lights in a package deal there easy to install and look sharp!!! (Dont forget to picup the light adaptor kit it will save you alot of headace!!) |
What can I say this back rest is a must for every rider!! My wife likes it just as much as I do because she doesn't have any bolts or poles to be knockin her knees on!! |
I really like the way that you can remove the drop hitch and replace the reflector when not in use. The recevier is well bolted on and it pulls my eight foot cyclecamp trailer very nice and it feels very sucure while in tow! |
Thes are very comfortable. They make a long ride seem like an afternoon cruse!!! |
This spoiler is area nice touch and its easy to install. It also adds alot of extra light for safety when you apply the brake!! |
I like this item because it gives me a ready-access weatherproof place to store my digital camera. I feel safer putting it here where I can get it out quickly as opposed to my pocket where it could easily fall out without me noticing. And since I always wear gloves, my tactile feel isn't all that great so if I was prying the camera from my pocket it could easily slip out and break. Anything you put in this pouch is right there in front of you while riding and you can see everything as it goes in and comes out. A little small for sun glasses though. Easily attaches to gas lid via velco straps and doesn't seem to interfere while gassing up. Very Satisfied. Wow, i get to be the first reviewer of something! |
These armrests are great if you want to keep the stock look of the bike. They do take a couple of hours to install, but are well worth it. |
The floorboards are very functional, and the SO loves them. They should be supplied with a stonger spring to hold the boards in the folded position. Overall a very good product. |
What can I say -- its a CB (30 year old technology). I approached this purchase as a "tax" on the purchase price of the bike so I wouldn't have switches on my new ride that didn't do anything. An integrated FRS radio would make more sense in todays world but it is a nice insurance policy if you are in need of help or need a bear report for the stretch of road up ahead. If somebody told me a year ago I would be spending close to a grand (including install) for a CB radio, I would of punched them in the face! It works and does all it should. Antenna folds like the radio one does (matched). Built by Clarion. The black box portion lays in the trunk which may interfere with any mats you install there. Dealer installed. Somewhat satisfied (average). |
Wifey luvs'em. I got them to make sure she doesnt fall out when she falls asleep. Gives her a place for her coffee too (hides underneath when not used). Only bad things are you have to get in the habbit of swinging them outwards everytime you need to open the trunk all the way and the surface angle is off a few degrees from the plane of the stock armrests. I wouldnt put all my body weight on these either. They will bend/break. Otherwise, pretty solid. Very satisfied. Dealer installed. |
