BLING !!! These look great. Easy install. A must have.... |
Pegs are OK, but one of 8 bolts snapped with same torque as applied to others. I emailed Kuryakyn, never got a response of any kind (that tells me their response, same to ya'). After 2 months, both pegs have started to rust on outer bolts. My second and last Kuryakan purchase. (first was side lights - another problem - I'll try Big Bike Parts from now on) |
Very happy with the finished look. I added the fog lights at the same time. Made sense to do both. My only complaint is the fit is not quite a perfect replacement to the stock item. It takes a while to get the bolts lined back up and installed. It took an extra set of hands at the end to get it finished. Overall very happy, just wished I had purchased the timing cover at the same time. |
I purchased the chrome frame, which looks nice. However, poor instructions are one thing. . . But NO installation instructions?! Also, no wire connectors are provided. I purchased tap splices (18-14 AWG) to do the wiring. Also, do yourself a favor and look at https://www.bikerhiway.com/installinfo/LPFdual/LPFdual.pdf for installation instructions. The lights ARE very bright, but knock off two stars for lack of instructions and for no electrical connectors being included. |
What can I say - a great safety addition to improve rear visibilty and a great piece of cosmetic eye candy - it's all good - I had my mechanic install it with a modulator so that it blinks when I hit the brakes as well as acts as a running light. It took him about an hour and a half to complete the job. It really changes the look of the bike - a very classy and well constructed add on - the color match for my illusion blue 2003 1800 was perfect. |
Looks and feels much sturdier than my older flag. Will post again if/when it wares out and milage/time on it. Hope I get 15K out of it! |

Just installed. I think I'll appreciate them MUCH more in the winter, because I can already notice a significant reduction in wind on me with these on. Opening them on a hot day, to reflect the air "inward", they have a tendency to not hold position above 60MPH, but I'll tighen the nut a little more and see how it goes. |
Just what the Doctor Ordered. The shorter of the two fit much better |
Easy install. Its nice to have a way of monitoring the battery charge. Should be standard equipment on a touring bike. |
These are the lens protectors everyone should buy. Very easy to install and they look great. Compaired to other driving light protectors, these are superior in both design and function. I only wish that they came with chrome mounting bolts. Awesome product |
I has the same problems that several others have with both the tape and the cam lock. Very poor instructions. I love the look and feel of the grips but the installation was the pits. |
