| Pan seems adequate to protect the engine cases except in the worst of circumstances. But, the install is way more problematic than it should be with the very poor fabrication of the front brackets. I had to laugh when the instructions said some 'slight' bending 'may be required '. The brackets were so poorly bent that I wondered if they were marked opposite of their intended position. Honestly, it should not take any more effort to bend these things properly from the factory than to do it that badly. I have a metal fabrication background and I fiddled with these brackets for at least an hour to get them anywhere near correct. Time will tell if the guard is effective and how much trouble an oil change wil be. My first time out of my driveway the pan scraped the curb. It's a little scary how close the engine cases was to the curb so I'm glad I invested in the guard. Just fix the brackets and you will have a good product. |

| In my opinion this is the most classy looking option for adding a high running/brake/turn signal light. The function is exactly what I wanted for added safety, and the chrome helps to dress up the bike's back end. |
