I got the stock windshield. Delivery was fast. It is quite clear and about twice as thick as the OEM version that it replaced. The windshield I received is actually a Slip Streamer S-166-V. Installation of the windshield is easy, once you figure out how to access the first two to screws by the mirrors. I did have to add some shims under the five windshield screws to allow the thicker windshield to move up and down. Had I had only bought the windshield, I would rate it 4, because it did have a small scratch on it. The scratch was only visible after I installed it and removed the protective film that covered part of the windshield. I bought the vented version. There were no instructions with the windshield or vent, so you are on your own. That is where I was disappointed. The vent was not installed in the windshield. Installation of the vent was much more difficult than the windshield itself. This was in part do due its apparent fragility. It is secured by a small plastic spring tab, and two small screws. The contour of the vent did not match the contour of the windshield. I am fortunate to have eventually installed it without damaging either. Even so, one of the vent screws vibrated out during my first day of riding. I did request instructions from Slip Streamer by email, and I received no response. |

These look great and are easy to put on the bike. I wanted to be able to switch on/off different items I have added and this fits the bill. The wiring was reasonably simple to run, did it when I was going to have the shelter off for other work as well. Best advice plan to spend time getting your wiring in order prior to adding things 1 at a time so you do not end up with a rats nest of wiring at a later date. The led is bright enough even during the day to see if you left something on. I wired these to an extra fuse block so they do not turn on until the ignition is on as a safety measure to ensure I do not have a drain on the battery by leaving something on after the bike is off. |
| Easy install and with no modifications. I recommend this over all the other hitches by far. |
| First I love the rack, it looks great on the bike. I also added the extensions on to start with to make room for a spoiler when I decide to add it. The reason for the 4 stars is the installation instructions do not give you an idea of exact placement on the lid. Given the large holes you will be drilling it would have been nice to have a template or a measurement for location to start with. Quality looks great |
| Love the added chrome look on the side of the bike. Very simple to install. It looks just like it was an original item on the bike now that is is attached. |
| Fairly simple to install, just follow the instructions and read them first PRIOR to starting the install. I like the looks of the lights after they are installed. Cannot really see them when I am riding but should give others another view of what I am planning on doing. |
| I bought one of these a few years ago. While driving through Oklahoma and some highway road work, I was honored with a souvenir. Luckily, with this and my mini compressor, I was back on the road in no time. This is an extremely beneficial item. |
| Excellent product and deflects as advertised. Put some rubber door edge protector on where the wings met the fairing paint as they will take a little paing off in zthe full deflect mode. |
